The gorgeous weather was for free everything else on our fabulous stay at Golden River Hotel was the best holiday investment we have made. Three children 11-17, my wife and I had a ball. Superb check-in from multi-lingual staff, all the information you need and within 30mins of arrival in the park. Our top drawer western themed lodge was two...

Have stayed here at this hotel for many years great staff and amazing rooms but on this last visit just returned booked a taxi at their reception to the port aventura train station which took 3 minutes! What a complete rip off the meter said 5.50 euros when we first stepped into it then 6.50 when we arrived he ended...

We were here for a week with our granddaughter ( 11 years ). Mixed feelings about this hotel. Of course you would not go for the peace and quiet but it was busy and at times noisy. First the good stuff: The food in the restaurant was generally good with some variation at dinner , plenty of fruit and salad....

This hotel is in the grounds of the park so a perfect location. Had a room right at the edge pool edge which was super. A bit of a walk from reception but well worth it. Huge pool which meanders round a large area. Park is like a smaller version of Disney. Water park great. Food selection good, we had...

Really nice looking hotel on arrival, all areas clean and tidy. Room a good size for me and my son but we had to share a double bed (luckily it was huge). Noise is a problem until around 11pm, door to room paper thin so heard everyone talking in corridors. Also the doors bang REALLY loudly every time anyone goes...

Hotel good value. Good selection at buffet breakfast and dinner. Drink prices reasonable. 10 euro for glass of wine, 1 pint of beer and a glass of Fanta orange. Staff helpful and friendly. Nice and clean and tidy. To be fair it was a pleasant experience for our week long stay and we will be returning. Only down side was...

Well positioned for the park, this hotel has large rooms and pleasant, landscaped gardens. The food was good and staff pleasant. There is a choice of restaurants to eat at. The hotel is located right next to the theme park so is perfect for a short walk across to visit the attractions. If you are here for a conference, again...

Lovely hotel, despite being 2 minutes from the theme park and right near the entertainment we found that most of the noise came from people who would be very noisy in the corridors coming home at night though which was a shame as we had two very little ones so would be in bed by 11. The food was amazing...

Party of 7 (4 adults, 2 kids and and a baby), stayed in a large room on the top floor of one of the buildings. We stayed for a night, so it's OK, but for longer stays I'd recommend two separate rooms, as it felt a bit cramped, though the room was big. Our room faced the main square were...

Hubby and I are big kids at heart. We decided to include Portaventura as a part of our Honeymoon. We went in October so the only hotel that was open on the Portaventura complex at the time was this one. It was beautiful and the people at the front desk were very professional and kind. The bathroom was lovely and...
