due to the current situation we where moved to this hotel. Once in the hotel there was nothing to worry about. The location is fantastic about 100 yards from the sea front. All the staff were just fantastic and the variety of food from morning to night was great. If I was to find myself in salou again this hotel would go top of the list.

We were put in this hotel after ours was shut due to covid 19. We arrived early and the older male receptionist said 1 hour, so we went had a beer down the beach and returned to be told 1 oclock our room would be ready!then he said breakfast, dinner and tea and i said no were all inclusive, one of the younger ladies had to translate. Good points: food is plentiful and much choice. The hotel is central to salou so close to everything. The staff made us very welcome especially Jose in the bar and Loui and Manuel in the restaurant, these staff are a credit to the hotel. The hotel are working very hard to keep everyone safe and we felt very safe. Communal areas spotless, including around the pool. Not so good: We had emailed and asked for a higher floor quiet room we were put on second floor overlooking the bar, At least 2 nights a week they put on live music which is very loud and goes on till midnight! We were their for 2 weeks and our sheets werent changed till about day 10. Also one day the hand towels left in our room were dirty, black makeup and hair on them. I dont wear makeup so not mine! Didnt realise till i was drying my hands and got long black hair off the towel, yuk! We were fine because most of the time their was only a handful of people in the hotel, but the outdoor space is small so never more than about 10 sunloungers in the sun at any time, fine if you would rather be at the beach. Majority of customers were spanish. Would we go to this hotel again, yes if it was a good deal!

We were staying for a one week holiday. The cleaning level could have been better. The first room we got was dirty and very noisy because it was on the first floor and there were music and programme every evening on the lobby bar. Luckily we were able to get a better room after first night. The breakfast was good as well as the service and drinks in the bar. The pool area was nice but pretty small and all the best places were reserved early in the morning. Most of the pool area is in the shade after noon. Street in front of the hotel is quiet and the hotel has a good location.

We stayed at the Da Vinci Hotel in Salou for one week from the 19th October to the 26th October. Upon arrival, our check in was quick and efficient. Our room was on the fourth floor and we were able to make our way there, with our luggage, via the lift. Our room was extremely spacious and we were very surprised to find that we had two double beds. There was lots of storage space for all our things and the room was lovely and clean. We were very pleased to find that there was also a free safe that we could use in one of the cupboards to store away any valuables. The bedroom also contained a fridge and cooking facilities if these were required. Our balcony was also spacious and it was quite sheltered as it had a roof. Our balcony view was not quite as impressive though, as it overlooked a building with lots of apartments. The bathroom was also a good size and the shower was very good. We stayed at the hotel on a B&B basis, so we only ate there in the mornings. The breakfast was adequate, although we did sometimes feel that the food was warm, rather than hot. You could however, get fried eggs and pancakes made for you at the grill area and these seemed to be very popular. During our stay, the weather was quite erratic so we did not really use the pool area. There was however, a reasonably sized pool and a bar that you could visit for refreshments. It is quite built up around the pool area and on the few days where we did get sun, we noticed that only a small fraction of the pool seemed to get much sun at all. Large areas seemed to remain in the shade. However, it is possible that at other points in the year, when the sun is higher in the sky, you may get more sun. If this is not the case though, we did feel that it would be difficult to get a subbed in the areas of the pool that were exposed to the sun. The bar areas and seating areas were again very large. Due to the weather being very changeable during our stay, we found this to be a real benefit because there were always plenty of places that you could go to, to relax in. During our stay, we only got one drink at the hotel but the service was good and we sat and enjoyed this by the pool. We did ask if we could put our drinks on our hotel bill but this did not seem to be something that the hotel offered so we paid for these as we had them. At night time, we often ventured out, however, there was always entertainment organised at the hotel if you didn't want to go too far. The location of the hotel was very good. It was just a 5 minute walk to the beach front and a 10 minute walk to the old town area. There were lots of lovely bars and restaurants very nearby and the area is quite flat, so everywhere is very accessible.
