Have stayed at Acqua Hotel for 3 weeks end of June-Mid of July 2019, family with 2 kids (8 and 2year old). Lived in Family room- good size for a family, 1 double bed and 2 single plus baby bed! I have booked the Hotel directly and asked for a nice view and was glad to receive my birthday present -partial seaview. Greetings from Minsk, Marisol! The cleaning was very good, our thanks for that! Towels changed every day, toiletries added regularly. Were a bit disappointed by lack of hooks for towels in the bathroom. Halfboard: Breakfasts- variety of food, but almost the same every day. No porridge, just flakes. Omelette, scrambled eggs, bacon, beans, sausages, tomato, cheese, etc, fruits, juice, water, tea, coffee. No fresh juice or smoothies. Dinner was nice-different meats (pork, chicken, etc), seafood. The cook on the island prepare meat or sea food for you. Shrimps or langustinos were served every day or two. Yummy. Greetings from Minsk, Alberto! The restaurant staff was polite and attentive. The hotel is not big and therefore quiet. There is an outdoor swimming pool. No animation for adults or kids. But 3-5 mins walk way down brings you to the seafront and beach or shops or plenty of restaurants and bars or bus stop. The hotel personnel is very polite, friendly and responsive (just tell your needs). We were pleased with our holidays and the Hotel. We definitely will be back. I love Salou seafront, sandy beach, shallow entrance to the sea, fountains and relaxing atmosphere.

Stayed in this hotel for 5 days myself and my husband room was lovely everything we needed. The bathroom was spotless. The staff were really nice. Friends of ours had a triple room have to say it was very small and tight for 3 people. The bar staff were really nice. The only thing I can say is that the hill up to hotel is a bit tiring when your up and down it twice or three times a day.

Thoroughly enjoyed a three-night break at this hotel to celebrate a birthday. The hotel gives an excellent impression when you arrive at being very clean and organised. Our room was very clean and modern and the bathroom was excellent with a really powerful shower. We had a room at the from of the hotel which has great views of the sunset, mountains and sea. It is in a great location with just a short walking distance to the beach and shops. There is a slight hill but this did not effect us. The food was of a good standard and there was always a large selection of dishes. Breakfast was excellent and the fried eggs were outstanding. There was always plenty of room in the dining room which made meal times very pleasant. The only point we would have liked breakfast from 7.30am and not 8.00am, especially if you are planning a full day out or you have an early departure as we did on our leaving day. We have come back throughly relaxed and we would definately return to this hotel again.

Not long back from yet another wonderful week staying at Acqua. The week flies in when here because the staff and environment are both wonderful. Customer service is outstanding. From reception, domestics, catering, bar staff, even the hotel manager - they can’t do enough for you. This place gets it, if you treat the customer well they’ll come back. I can’t wait to return for my 7th visit (and no doubt my 8th also) next year. It’s an absolute joy to walk into a hotel and feel as though you’re at home. My late partner and I have so many happy memories here that it will always feel as though he’s there with me any time I visit. Food is outstanding. The selection you have at breakfast is amazing. I always end up waddling out of the dining room in the morning, straight upstairs to lie by the pool and it was such a joy getting a lovely wave and good morning from Paula. This girl is an absolute gem and really helps to make my holiday when I go. Rooms - wow! Plenty of room and the views are amazing. These obviously depend on what side of the hotel you’re on but if you’re lucky to be at the front you see across the whole of the beach towards the mountains. This hotel is definitely a little piece of heaven for me and I’m so looking forward to returning to my happy place and visiting the many friends I have made there. Can’t recommend this hotel highly enough.

I have just left this hotel having thoroughly enjoyed a 5 day break with my husband and 17 year old son. The hotel is outstanding! Peaceful and calm, with a relaxed atmosphere. We chose this hotel due to its central location and no kids clubs. I booked half board, and I have absolutely no regrets. I’m very particular about my food, and every night I enjoyed what I ate, particularly the sea food, and salads... they even cook fresh fish/meat In front of you! My son, whose taste of food is very different to mine, enjoyed all that he had. Breakfast was also a very enjoyable experience with so much choice. The room was perfect for us. A double bed and a single. Lovely and modern. We requested a sea view which we were given. I took a mini travel kettle so we could enjoy a wee cuppa on the balcony. One of my highlights was coming back to our room after a wee trip to the beach, or walk along the coastline, to find it beautifully cleaned and tidied! I cannot thank the cleaners enough. They do so much behind the scenes. I commend them for their hard work, and going that extra mile! Thank you to the wonderful woman who cleaned room 514 from 12-17th October. We have often stayed in apartments, so booking a hotel half board felt quite risky. I can honestly say it was the best decision I made. It was good fun sharing a room with our son, we got a bit more of his attention and it took the stress out of having to visit supermarkets or choosing which restaurant to go to! We are returning back to Scotland thankful for such a wonderful holiday. Thank you to all the staff at Acqu Salou! And now for a couple of days in Barcelona before we fly back home.
