We have stayed here on two occasions, and choose it after researching the hotels in the area, because I had a stroke and tire quickly. The hotel is well positioned for shops, restaurants and cafes and right next to the beach. There are plenty of benches on the main avenue where said shops are. The hotel has lifts to all floors, and the breakfast room. The whole area around the Hotel I would describe as "flat". I hope you find something suitable, I am actually writing this answer from our room in the Cleopatra! Good luck Fergie.

Yes it is as long as you don’t have a plunge pool room overlooking the main pool in the reception/restaurant block. As I could see it all the other plunge pool rooms have balconies facing the sun either morning or evening. We didn’t use our plunge pool as it was in the shade from morning until evening so it was pointless us having it. Request a room if you can facing the sun either in the morning or evening otherwise you’ll be disappointed.
