I visited this beautiful building , to have supper! Staff all very friendly and attentive , only a full menu offered two courses £50 , although cooked and looked good it was not worth that sort of money, disappointed , as eat regularly at sister hotel, which is a gem , staff and food !!

I only had dinner there, never been for tea afternoon or spa. But I am not going anymore. I've asked for a Pinot Noir and the waiter brought me a Cabernet Sauvignon, then ordered the food and took them an hour and a half to dish out the mains. Small portions, cold food and a waiter who didn't know to...

We went here to celebrate our engagement in 2016. The rooms here are really tremendous. Wood panelling that makes you feel quite regal. Lovely bed. The meal we had was locally sourced and really tasty - really good service too. The Great Hall where we had a few drinks was tremendous. Original features, huge stone fireplace, stain glass windows. We...

This hotel has signigficant "Wow factor" upon approach and the inside does not disappoint! This is a hotel with character and it has not been over modernised like some of the big country house hotels which are run by chains (Four Seasons Hampshire I am looking at you!). I found the perfect blend of modernisation and old world charm. We...

We were in the area for a country fair at Kelmarsh, so decided to make a weekend of it. What a gorgeous place. It looked great online, but I was surprised how picture perfect it was when we arrived. We had dinner there too, which was lovely. The scallop starter was amazing. Lovely staff, particularly Sheldon, David and Bruno who...

Since our last stay, there is a disquieting change in the attention to detail and service in the bar and restaurant. The reception and spa staff continue to be excellent however, our stay was let down by little things in the rest of the hotel. We stayed for dinner and one night. Before dinner, you are seated in the great...

The hubsters birthday was imminent so I decided to treat him to a massage and spa at this picturesque location. So off I went to book it. I opted for a Sunday as hubster works 6days a week and was the only time we could do it. Price was £65 each and that included the massage and use of the...

Superb hotel. Beautiful building with magnificent stately rooms. Clean, comfortable and spacious room. Attentive, friendly and very polite staff. Clean and well maintained spa facilities with indoor & outdoor whirlpool baths. The food in the restaurant was first class, and the breakfast was gorgeous, with lots of choice. So much attention to detail with good quality complimentary products made the...
