A lot of deer, turkeys, etc for great pictures! Had the whole park pretty much to ourselves..... and was a beautiful day too - shirts level weather even on the lake. The state park completely surrounds the lake.

Campsites are clean,RV pads are fairly level.Clean bathrooms. Lots of trees and wildlife to see. Good FISHING! Boat,kayak and canoe rentals. Friendly park staff. Park rangers do patrol often,so if your loud, expect to see them in your camp. Been going here for years!! Good...More

Terrible Rangers!!! Very aggressive. They admitted there were no noise complaints but said "I'm complaining" and issued several citations. Took the two officers more than two hours to write the citations and then at 3 am, they told the group that they had to leave...More
