We found this hotel to be delightful. The staff was extremely nice and helpful. We were able to get any special requests filled quickly. The room was exceptionally large for this class of hotel. Free high speed internet was included. The free breakfast was nice, not crowded, and well staffed.

The only minor complaint is the swimming pool. ‘Indoor pool’ does not mean heated pool, so the water was probably 70 degrees. Even my kids who will swim in almost any temperature found it too cold. One of the main reasons we chose this hotel was for the indoor pool, so that was basically a waste. But, the other parts made up for it.

We stay in New Braunfels every summer. We have stayed at the Best Western, Hawthorn, Comfort Inn & Days Inn.

We would recommend the LaQuinta.

We spent 3 nights at the LaQuinta, July 28-30, 2004. Service was wonderful, rooms were very clean, reasonable rates (get better rates online). When we asked for extra towels, we received them immediately. They cleaned our room daily, even though we were still staying another night. There was 4 of us and we just wished they had queen/king beds instead of full.

Pool and hot tub was clean. (closes at 10pm)

We will stay again there next year.

In brief:
Pros: Room was clean. Bed was clean. Fridge and microwave in room.

Cons: shards of glass in floor left from previous guests cut my husbands foot. Breakfast was below sub par. And the non englishspeaking woman running it was rude and unprofessional. Stood in line for 30 minutes, that's not a typo, for the ONE waffle maker in the corner of a closet they have for breakfast and before all the people were through, she starts cleaning it up. While people are still in line. We had to complain to get syrup because she wouldn't give it to us. Add in the standing water in the bathroom and hallway and yeah....don't stay here.

First notice upon arrival - a dirty wash cloth hanging on the shower rod. No smoke detector....only wires showing (loads of detectors on the desk in lobby...assuming most rooms were without). No tv remove. Called and asked for one...never came. Went downstairs to get one and was given some off the wall remote that was not compatible at all. Towel rack in bathroom was bent pretty bad. This hotel name "Quality" is completely inaccurate. Have stayed in Quality Inns before and never had anything like this for a room. Do not recommend.

Overcharged on my bank card, go 👀 over your receipts. When call to informed them, clerk is so rude, not to mention the bad door that doesn't close right, on Rm# 127, asked for extra towels, she sends me, to 3rd floor to look for housekeeping, lol......Terrible staff (Bella)

Stayed overnight for a family visit. The staff was friendly and the rooms were very clean. Really enjoyed the large Jacuzzi in the room. I stay in a lot of Quality Inns, and this is one of the best. Highly recommended.

This LQ is about a year old. For a 3 Star chain motel it is very nice and probably the best of its type in town. Decent quality furnishings, good bed, shower, new TV and micro/fridge. It is close to I-35, but good insulation keep any outside noise to a bare minimum and not noticeable at night. (I find it very hard to believe that the old decrepit Faust House downtown offers a better night's rest). It looks like it hasn't been remodeled in about 50 years.

I did not expect Ritz Carlton service or Four Seasons ambience - just a clean room with fresh linens and a little something to eat for breakfast.

This place was disgusting (take a look at the picture of the blanket that was on the mattress of the fold out couch).

I asked for a rollaway - I called the property directly to lock in that request. No rollaway.

I reserved a king with a foldaway - again directly with the hotel; no king.

I requested extra sheets and blankets to make a pallet on the worn out, stained carpet in the room and got damp sheets and tattered blankets (see photo).

The tiny breakfast room was filthy and overrun with guests. We opted out.

My expectations going in were low; and I was not disappointed. Then again, what could one expect for $147 a night?

Ok if all you want is a bed. Decided to stay elswhere - Hotel Faust. Much nicer place to stay if you want more than a "vanilla" room.
