The beds had firm mattresses, room was clean. The breakfast offered had fresh fruit (apples, oranges), sweet rolls and toast, coffee and juice. Not exceptional, but fairly priced. Staff was very helpful answering questions.

We stayed at this hotel on June 20 and although they are close to the I-35 it was very quiet because it's about 2 streets from the highway so didn't hear a thing. The room was very clean and the pool was great.

This hotel was very nice and clean and the continental breakfast was standard, however, they do need to invest in new beds. Cheap soft beds that you could feel the springs as you tried to sleep. I had no problem with anything else except the beds--after all, that's why we got a hotel, for a good nights sleep. Please invest in new beds!!! We were in room 106.

We checked in around 7pm and they told me checkout was at 11 I told them I paid $6 for late checkout that said I had until 3pm they ended up saying no their late checkout is 12pm. I let them know the website said 3pm and he said well that’s my managers problem. Come morning they still called and woke me up at 1030am and I said “do y’all not have my late checkout on file?! Then the maid wants to tell my husband we have 15 mins. I went down to the office to show my phone that we have late checkout . And they said yeah we are good til 12pm even though their website is til 3pm!!! I even showed screenshots. I wouldn’t have paid an extra $6 for just an hour. Then they tried to say i booked through booking.com no I booked through their website. After research they find out “its a new feature” needless to say I WILL NEVER come back . They only thing clean here is their rooms. Their pool was gross with all kinds of trash on the bottom and their hot tub is stained yellow!

Dear Guest, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. While I wish you had a better experience, it is feedback like this that we learn from and use to improve. We work hard to deliver an exceptional guest experience, and it's apparent in this case that we fell short. If you give us a chance to earn back your trust, I can assure you that we will do our best to give you the great hotel experience that so many of our guests have grown so fond of. Sincerely, Kush Bhakta

I called this hotel to book at least 10 rooms for a wedding and ask for a "deal" the manager said i had to book half the rooms and the best he could give was 10%. He was extremely rude and said it doesn't matter to him because he will sell out anyway. Not the best attitude to have towards potential new customers. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone based on the attitude the employees have towards the people who pay their bills. HORRIBLE customer service.

I have stayed here before but have never been treated so poorly.we checked in late went in and went right to bed. Woke up and about 9:30 am and they knocked on the door to clean the room at 10:15! Check out is not until 11am. At 10:45 they knocked on the door again at wich point I opened the door to tell them there wasn't any toilet paper on the bathroom which I had just realized after they knocked the first time. The lady just stared at me stupidly and walked off. Then the front desk called to see if we were staying or checking out! CHECKING OUT! I stopped by the office on the way out to speak to the manager and let her know that I did not appreciate them harassing me before check out time and doing nothing about the toilet paper. All she said was I could have let someone know......that is what I was doing! You would think that as eager as they are to turn the rooms around they would be fully stocked!!!!!! NEVER AGAIN!!!

Our first time at this place. Apparent recent "face-lift" to the structure, but owner missing details of customer appreciation. More "motel" feeling than "hotel". And yes, they nave a nice vinyl banner that says "motel". But, we've stayed at other places where you REALLY feel welcome. This was basic, basic. Roof over your head and dry. Upside - it was away from freeway and train tracks. And location was easy-in easy-out. A 2-level structure with room entry from outside catwalks and parking lot facing doors. No elevator for elderly, handicapped or lazy. Stairs are the concrete kind housed in metal stair-tred pans, which are rusting out with some edges beginning to curl and are trip hazards. If stairs are being ignored, then what else has the fresh coat of paint covered up? Our room was not vacuumed well. Left-over debris here and there. The shower curtain had mold along the bottom edge of it - yuck. The room had been re-caulked poorly and was already pulling away from the backsplash behind sink, around baseboards and tub area. The bathroom just felt "yucky". It was a feeling and usually feelings are right. The air-conditioner worked, but ever so slowly and low/underpowered. The A/C "clunked" every time the compressor kicked off, occassionally waking me. There was dust everywhere on top edges, surfaces, etc. And a nice yucky filthy bathroom door handle with sort of "gunk" on the handle. We didn't touch it. For the budget-minded this could work. For us though, we will NOT be back. Worst thing was, upon check-out, the person did not ask "how was your stay?" If a place has no interest in your stay, they don't care, and don't care if you come back, which we won't. There are too many other places in New Braunfels that "want" us to stay with them. Lesson learned - sometimes trading $5/night is not worth what you get out of the deal. Do your homework and use Google Street-vue to do a "virtual drive-by" to see your next hotel and the surroundings. And call the hotel and ask "how old it is" and "when was the last facelift/remodel". Check here on TripAdvisor to see what others are saying and online at other sites to check out your next place to stay.

Our family of 5 stayed here for our visit to Schlitterbahn. We checked in on Thursday - discounted hotel rate was $55.99 the weekend rate gave me a fright $115.99-yikes!
Your best deals are Sun-Thurs. Overall, the hotel rooms were clean, working a/c unit, comfortable beds and Wi-Fi. Contl breakfast @ 7am consists of cereal, coffee and juice. Restaurants/Shopping right off I-35 and be sure to visit Clear Springs restaurant (good seafood & best onion rings) - I can't wait to go back to New Braunfels - we had a great time on a budget...especially during these times. ;0) Be safe, Be nice and Have fun travelling!

Good news was didn’t get shot. AC didn’t work til about 4 am. And I didn’t die. Sleazy part of town. Some guys were yelling I’ll kill you MF’er right outside our window. I had checked the reviews off hotel.com and saw nothing that made it sound like this. Can’t believe I paid that price for such a horrible hotel. Never again.

If I could give this hotel zero stars I would. The most rude and I unaccommodating staff I have ever experience at a hotel. First when I asked to make a change to the rooms I reserved he acted like it was a big inconvenience. Second, the guy at the front desk was trying to charge multiple charges one my card versus one charge and when I questioned it, he got even ruder. Then I said well I’ll be checking my credit card about the charges then he got mad and said since I said that he needs to charge me another hold just because I question the way they did business. After we got into argument about that he asked me to leave and said he was not giving me a refund. I have stayed all over in different kind of hotels and never experienced a hotel like this one. So rude and I will never do business with hotel ever again. I was warned about staying here and thought it’s one night and cheep can’t be that bad. Wow they couldn’t have been more right. Plus if you read previous review they will show I’m not the only one that has had a problems with this guy and this hotel. I was warned by others after leaving that it was for the best since the hotel isn’t clean, as stated in another review as well. So please take my advice if you need hotel to stay at in the area. Believe me there are plenty around for the same or cheaper to stay at. And they will treat you with respect and accommodate you a lot better!! BAD BAD BAD BAD HOTEL AND STAFF STAY AWAY!!!!!! As you can tell from their responses to the reviews it’s always the same thing but yet they haven’t learned anything. AGAIN PLEASE DON’t BOOK HERE, THERE ARE BETTER HOTELS CLOSE BY!!
