Great downtrend location in the midst of many turn of the century homes! Room was great, king bed was oh, so comfy! Cindy prepared two delicious home cooked breakfasts! The Belgian Waffles were oh so good!!

I loved this house that was built in the 1890's. The guest rooms are upstairs and we had enough in our party to fill all 4 rooms. There is a bathroom in all rooms except one, and theirs in just a bit down the hall. There is also a refrigerator and a Kuerig with coffee and hot cocoa. There is...

My husband and I stayed over night at the Magnolia Street Inn prior to riding on the Fall Brunch train rise on 11/6. The hostess was very kind and happy to chatt about the house. The house is beautifully decorated and well maintained. The floors do squeak when you walk, but that is to be expected for the age of...

This was a weekend getaway carefully planned by my husband. The accommodations were comfortable enough, but according to the website, there was to be afternoon wine and snacks. The day we arrived, the proprietor was not there in the afternoon, nor did we have refreshments the next day. My thoughtful husband also paid $35 extra for a homemade-type picnic on...

My wife and I wanted to take a trip to Palestine to unwind and relax. Our trip had a rough beginning. We arrived at the Magnolia Street Inn about 30 minutes after the 3:00 check-in time and rang the doorbell. No answer. We rang it again and knocked on the door. No answer. I called the Inn's phone number and...

Wow...You stated your arrival time at 5PM. I apologize for being distracted due to the fact that my new home was at risk of burning down due to an accidental fire at the construction site. I due look forward to your return visit. Thanks.

I just returned from a wonderful weekend at the Magnolia Street Inn. It is a beautifully restored Victorian home. The rooms are spacious and tastefully decorated. The beds and the linens were extremely comfortable. A much needed respite after a terrible week. I left feeling renewed and refreshed. My girlfriends and I took full advantage of the lovely wraparound porch...

Hello. I had planned on staying at a bed and breakfast close to downtown Palestine during a short Labor Day road trip. However, that establishment closed. The former owners recommended the Magnolia Street Inn. This place is located in South Side Historic District. It is a beautiful house that was built in the late 19th century. The current owners have...

We loved the Magnolia Street Inn and Cindy, the innkeeper. She made a feel right at home, made a fantastic breakfast and was a delight to visit with. Her home is beautiful, filled with treasures of times gone by with stories of their own. The bed was super comfortable, the rooms quiet and clean. The breakfast was fantastic - praline...

I LOVE THE MAGNOLIA....the house is gorgeous, the linens exquisite, the peace and quiet priceless. the bath was beautiful. Would love to visit in the fall/winter when it's cooler, but the air conditioner was doing the job. Cindy is my kind of hostess....there if needed, but not hovering. Cannot address the breakfast, as I was on the road early...the only...

My husband and I were celebrating our 46th wedding anniversary with a weekend steam train ride in Rusk, TX. We decided to stay in Palestine (30 minute commute) because it had more options on places to stay and eat. This was our first time at Magnolia Street Inn. We were in the Dogwood room. It was very nicely furnished and...
