We loved the rockers on the front porch. Our room, 26, appeared to be more spacious than others. It was a pleasant surprise they are dog friendly. We were in walking distance to the best breakfast on the island- Frankie's Kitchen.

I rented a room on a Saturday night during the low season, the location n the fact that all others were sold out made the decision easy. The room was considered "premium queen"; costing us 150.00. Upon entry to the room it was smaller than even a motel 6 although the furniture was cute and antique, as the front desk...

I was drawn to this inn based on its locale and historical past. Unfortunately, the accommodations were pretty disappointing. Here's the good and bad from my stay: Good: You can easily walk to lots of restaurants and shops. The trolley makes a stop right out front. Bad: The room was musty and didn't seem very clean. It was apparent that...

We stayed here because it's an historic hotel. It is truly historic in that it has not been updated in it's history. Granted, heat pumps have been added; but the mold, mildew and rust are from it's history. We were aware that there is no TV or telephone; but a room the size of a postage stamp can be a...

No TV but I don't go to watch my favorite shows. Most attractions, shopping and restaurants are within walking distance. I still have not been able to get a reservation at Roosevelt's but will keep trying. The only complaint is it took a long time to get hot water to the room.

We understood that rooms did not have TV or telephone and that wasn't a problem. There was free wi-fi though. The problem was that there wasn't a wardrobe. The room was very small and we had also understood this when we booked but not to have a wardrobe was a surprise. There was a tiny built in closet at a...

Port Aransas is a super place, chilled out feel with plenty of friendly bars that you can walk to. Well worth a visit. This Inn was a great place with an 'historic' feel. There are no TVs or telephones in the rooms, but free wifi. For me a perfect combination. The rooms and bathrooms are pretty simple, wooden floors and...

I rate the Inn as excellent with the understanding that it is a renovated historic inn, a one-of-a-kind property, located on Cotter, the center of life in P.A. Yes it's old but perfect if you want to enjoy the atmosphere of old P.A. and NOT stay in a concrete tomb that so many of the new hotels and condos seem...

The rooms are very small and quaint....a bed and breakfast feel. We loved that there were no phones or televisions in the room...a little weekend getaway from technology was great! Enjoyed reading the history and about Roosevelt's stay there.
