I've been staying here for over 15 years. Just a short journey from San Antonio. Great old school getaway place and walking distance to the Gulf. You know you're at the coast when you stay there. The owner, Steve, lives right next door and is very friendly.

My family and I stayed her for three nights. We absolutely loved it! The outside looks a little rough, to be honest, and it's obvious that the property is older. However, it is extremely clean, and the beds were amazingly comfortable. Our rooms had a couple of broken items (balcony door was stuck, etc), and I let management know. They...

We see the beach once every four years. Naturally, first stop off the ferry was the beach! Yay, the beach! Then we drove back up and lo and behold saw a Vacancy on Twelfth a block and a half off *the beach*! 👏🏾 What the heck, we pulled in, looked for an office, finally found it. Sign on the door...

I've stayed at the Beachcomber probably 5 times and it never disappoints. My family doesn't need anything fancy- beds, shower, air conditioning, a television and a modest kitchen, all within a very short walk to the beach and cheeeeaaaaap. We like to have breakfast on the patio and the kids always appreciate the huge stash of beach toys to borrow....

I have stayed in all of the different types of rooms and have even rented the full main beach house when we got the whole family together....
