This nice little motel is newly remodeled, very clean, and comfortable. The beds were also very good. The staff at the desk were very pleasant and professional, including, Diana. Very good coffee was available in the office in the morning, too.

We stopped in Presidio on a cross country motorcycle trip. There are only two motels listed in town. We chose the Riata at random and were very pleased. It is basic, no frills accommodation, very clean, and reasonable priced. Comfortable beds, good A/C, hot shower, and quiet. Friendly staff. No breakfast. It is located several miles out of town on...

Presidio does not have many different hotel options, but this one is solid. The staff is friendly, the rooms are clean, and everything works as it should (including the free Wifi). When you're driving into town, look for the Riata Inn on your left hand side just before you cross the bridge.

Large clean rooms at a fair price. Pretty decor. I would recommend the Riata Inn to anyone staying in the area. After looking at other options in town I realized this motel was a shining star, and a great start to a trip to Big Bend state park.

I had reservations for one night but a number but things happened and I had to cancel. I called twice to make sure I wasn't charged and neither desk person could find my reservation either by confirmation number or name. No one ever gave me a reason or even apologized. Plans would have had me pulling into town rather late...

I was so afraid to come to presidio and find a decent place to stay since it is tiny. There are only 2 motels in this time with the Riata Inn being one of them. The room itself is okay and it has wood floors which is different but it looked nice. The bathroom could have been a little cleaner...

My husband and I stayed one night on May 10, 2016. The room was very large and comfortable. It was spotlessly clean. Wood and tile floors. Fairly new bed and bedding. Modern decor. Very friendly owner/manager. The pool was sparkling clean. Price was extremely reasonable. I would definitely stay again.

An oasis in the desert. The rooms are remodeled and updated. They are spacious with a microwave and refrigerator. Staff is very friendly and helpful. A very enjoyable experience and highly recommended.

This is new lodging and far better than anything in the town. The price is fair and rooms are outstanding. Everything is clean and works which is a minor miracle in this part of Texas. Unfortunately, the pool was closed for the season and coffee machine in lobby unavailable because door was closed in the morning (a little short of...

If you are looking for a clean, comfortable, spacious place to stay, this is a good bet. Nothing fancy and no particular charm, but we had a good experience and were pleasantly surprised in this part of West Texas where choices are not plentiful. Easy launch into Big Bend Ranch State Park the next day.
