On our way to Dallas we had to stop at the Riata Inn Rankin for the night. The front desk personnel was very generous and helpful. The rate was 85 which i think is to high but we had no choice we had to stop. The room had a fresh smell of paint it seemed like it was just painted...

We only stayed one night but the room was spacious and larger than many rooms we've had before. Although its not a lavish place, the room was very clean and smelled fresh. The wood looking floors were clean (but not real wood). We're use to carpet but the wood look was unique and nice since it wasn't dirty. The manager...

150 plus for a room that doesn't provide wifi ( they said they do and it doesn't work ) no contentential breakfast. Looks like the rooms are so high because they are taking advantage of the oil field. Unfortunely I'm not oil field and wouldn't have paid over 80 for the rooms.

Little piece of heaven on the outskirts of nowhere. I Have never seen a room this big and comfortable. Management was friendly and eager to help in any way needed. Wish all my stays everywhere were just like this!!!

Rankin, TX is 60 miles from the nearest city, pretty much out in the west Texas desert. This motel is pretty much what you would expect in a roadside motel... stained carpet, one day housekeeping never came to our room at all, dry, cracked swimming pool... but what killed me is that because of a small oil boom in the...
