We just returned from a great 3 night stay at Hoope's House. Paula was so kind and helpful, checking on us throughout our stay to be sure we had everything we needed. Kayla, the housekeeper kept our room spotlessly clean ! We had a delicious gourmet breakfast each day, alternating between sweet and savory dishes. Cookies, tea,and coffee were available...

We stayed in the San Jose room-one of 4 guest rooms adjacent to the main house. The room was huge with a small couch and chair in the sitting area,a refrigerator and coffee maker, and plenty of drawer space. The bath was large and spotless.Outside our room was a nice gazebo area and the pool and hot tub-all well maintained and beautifully landscaped.Each...

What a wonderful three-day stay we had! The hotel is beautifully maintained, to provide a tremendous atmosphere with period furniture and tasteful decoration, thoughtfully blended with a modern kitchen and bathroom designs. We had bedroom 3 in the original house, which was quiet and very comfortable. The breakfast, served precisely at 9 am, was perfectly cooked. The service was so...

This is the second time I have stayed at Hoopes' House. The first time I stayed in Room 1 which had the fabulous bathroom in the attic. You have to see it to believe it - so luxurious: a clawfoot tub, large open shower, ample dressing area. This time I stayed in Room 2. It is equally charming. I love...

Tried on April 3,2014 to get information about BedNBreakfast. Always got a recording to leave a message and wait to get call back. After three attempts and same recorded message chose another place. Late that night finally got a " human" to call back only to say they were closed for renovations. If that info had been on recording first...

Beautiful Victorian house. Hostess was friendly and available. It felt private and we didn't even know the place was booked by others until breakfast the next morning. Our room had a separate room temperature control and a private bathroom. Walking distance to local shops and restaurants. There was a pool and a hot tub in the backyard but weather did...

Tops on our list for B&B, the management is excellent and the property the best in this area, the breakfast was good, the internet connections were not on the level, but then this is a bed and breakfast, no tv and then this is a bed and breakfast.

Hoopes House was the perfect B&B. Quaint decor. The property was well kept. The rooms were large and quiet. Large, updated bathroom. The rooms and house were spotlessly clean. Paula was very hospitable, even taking a late night call to help us with directions getting to Hoopes. Breakfasts were excellent. We are birders and breakfasts are at 9:00, but Paula...

My wife and I came down to Rockport and had a wonderful time at Hoopes' House. We were greeted by the friendly care taker, Paula. She graciously gave us a tour of the beautiful and very well kept property. We enjoyed a lazy afternoon lounging on the large gazebo deck. We then returned to our well appointed room which was...

I recently stayed 2 nights and although the room was nice enough, I did not get breakfast with my room. I asked the manager specifically because my wife had stayed there before and enjoyed the breakfast. Her response was that she did not plan on it and it "was a shame". By the way, I paid for bed & BREAKFAST!
