Big red flag should have gone up when we arrived and there were signs to secure bicycles due to theft in the area. We had no bikes so no warning taken. Mistake. We checked in on a Friday and had really no issues till Father’s Day. My wife and I went down to the pool were we encountered a family already there. They had a toddler in the pool with no bottoms on. We became nervous when one of the adults began encouraging the toddler to not poop in the pool. Needless to say we evacuated the scene as to prevent a Caddie Shack moment. The pool is right outside the main office. Next morning we are awakened by our dog barking at the door. We later discovered that our Yeti, which was right beside our door, where it has been 100’s of times, was stolen. I have exchanged email with management and do except responsibility for the loss. Management, however; refuses any fault in the matter saying they run a tight ship. Baby in pool with no bottoms and cooler taken from a camp site in addition to posting in the office should indicate some major oversight issues. I still have not received a response from property management on how we were to proceed if we had encountered the thief at 6:00am. Like stated above proceed at your own risk. There are better maintained and run parks in Rockport

We stayed for the three weeks there with our friends. It was a decent stay with some minor hiccups which were handled almost immediately every time, we complained. If you are bringing kids, make sure to ask for quick mowing to the management. We have seen long grass and weeds at our site, making it difficult for the little ones to play around. However, workers took care of the same quickly once we brought the issue to their notice. Overall we were satisfied with our choice.

When we called their one of the employee to book two camping cabins, they asked whether we can reach there before 5 pm, to which we totally agreed. A person was greeted us with a wonderful smile and took us to show our cabins. Everything was at the place where they were supposed to and the place was clean to start using immediately. It was surely anincredible experience.

We went to this amazing park with some of our friends and stayed there in cabins. Location wise this site was great, and all the cabins we used were clean and equipped with Wi-Fi and TV. Employees were friendly too and they were always available whenever we need anything. Thanks to them for offering a nice ambiance.
