My extended family convened from Dallas, Houston and Austin - the cottages (and Red Barn) were perfect. All are located in a circle off a private drive, but within walking distance to Main Street. Our cottage (B) was very large, enough for 2 adults/2 teens; the open kitchen/den makes for a perfect family gathering. Innkeeper Debbie provided wonderful breakfasts every...

This Bed & Breakfast is in a very private location with 3 separate private Cottages but it was also very close to Main Street. Delicious breakfasts which Mrs. Debbie left the night before so you could sleep in if you wanted. Full kitchen so we could make snacks. Very clean and anything you think you might need is there. I...

This was the perfect retreat for us (2 people). Larger spaces are available but we opted for the seclusion of the Red Barn Hideaway. The breakfasts provided were delightful and the sound of the "waterfall" made for pleasurable moments sitting out on the deck. Lovely decir and pretty property on which to walk around.

We met 1/2 way from Dallas and Houston in Salado, Texas for a girls weekend get away. The Red Barn Hideway was a wonderful place to relax. We stayed in Cottage B. It was very clean and spacious-good place for 4 ladies to just catch up! The cottage was beautifully decorated and had everything you could possibly want. Debbie, our...

This place is wonderful. We stayed in Cottage A for a long, relaxing weekend. The accommodations are beautiful. Breakfast was beyond what I expected. There was coffee, orange juice, fresh fruit, breads and a hot main dish. There was more food than I could eat. The property is beautiful and the overall setting was very inviting to just sitting on...

Mrs. Harrison was sooooooo nice and the breakfast was delicious. We especially liked that she brought breakfast to us the night before and therefore we could sleep...

Red Barn Hideaway is perfect for a quick getaway. The cottages are private and very quiet. I loved that breakfast was already prepared in our cottage so we could just eat at our leisure in the morning. Kitchen equipped with essentials too. Well furnished cottages and very clean. Debbie is a wonderful host and the place is relaxed, cozy and...

The hospitality, comfort, privacy and breakfast exceeded our expectations! Mrs Debbie accommodated our special request and we were grateful for her sincere welcome upon our arrival. The property is beautifully manicured, but the view and the peaceful ripple from the creek below the Barn Loft were icing on the birthday cake!

This is our second time staying here, and we'll definitely be back again and again. The room is so clean and comfortable and large and beautiful. The full breakfasts (prepared by the innkeeper, Debbie Harrison, but heated by guests on their own time) are delicious. They've thought to include everything in the room to make the stay so relaxing. We've...

“I couldn't choose between the cottages, both are perfect. I would prefer either more than the room in the Red Barn because of the stairs.”

“The red barn requires climbing a set to stairs to reach the room, so if you have mobility issues, or small children you may want to stick with one of the cottage vs braving the trip up and down the stairs.”
