When I checked in, around 10 pm, I had to call out a few times before someone came out of the back. He was in a hurry to check me in and when running my card for "incidentals" charged my card for almost $400 extra. This is was on a room that was prepaid. I understand putting a deposit on a credit card but not for that amount. After checking out, when I was at the airport, I noticed the charge was still there. I called and received numerous apologies with statements that it would be taken care of although it never was. It is now 4 days later and after 2 more calls with again promises and apologies I finally received an invoice of the charges being reversed. I will wait 24 hours to see if it shows up on my credit card account because as of yet it has not. On a five day stay I would have to go back down to the lobby to have my key card reset, which when carrying numerous bags was not always the easiest. Of those 5 days, my room was not cleaned on 2 of them. The first time I had put the sign to the side that said, "please clean room", I believe housekeeping thought it was "Do not disturb" and didn't clean. The second time I came back to my room around 3:30-4:00 and my room had not been cleaned yet. All week housekeeping would leave garbage and not take it out. One day I came back to find some bags and bottles, that I had gathered at the end of the table, on the floor. I will never stay here again and I am in this area 4 times a year for business.

We continuously strive to meet your needs and expectations and we did not meet them. Please allow me to express my sincerest apologies. Your feedback is very important to us, and I am saddened to hear that you had several issues during your stay. Please rest assured that we are taking the appropriate measures to address the problems and to prevent any future occurrences. Our Do Not Disturb signs can also be confusing and have 2 sides with one side saying ‘Please Make Up My Room’ with ‘Tomorrow’ written sideways. Due to this continuous misunderstanding, we will be ordering a new style sign next week when they are released to avoid confusion in the future. This feedback is a result of our guest’s valuable feedback. We appreciate the time you took to share your concerns, and it is our hope that you will give us the opportunity to better serve you in the future. As a new facilities there were a couple hiccups but nothing that spoiled our stay. I would and actually did bring a new customer to stay on our second night there. That person was also impressed by the facilities and customer care.

The room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. I could have slept in all day. The breakfast was lacking in appearance and in variety, (disappointed there was no creamer for the coffee) but the room and friendliness of staff made up for it.

I like this particular La Quinta, one of the new ones. It has a nice spacious and open lobby with lots of seating areas for people during wait times and with friends and family during the breakfast time and if they have food delivered later on. The rooms are spacious and light and the beds comfortable too. I always have work to do so the desk with enough plug-ins for my electronics is greatly appreciated. The coffee in the room as well as the refrig, and the microwave are also a good addition when staying for a few days. The staff is helpful and professional.
