I didn't know what to expect by looking at their pictures. I had been going passed this place for years and never knew it was there. I knew about the Red Snapper Inn but never knew the hotel was back there. We had some difficulty with getting our rooms months in advance as there was their annual Old Surfer Convention...

Recently stayed 1 night for a get away to treat our lab to some fun swimming time. Had no idea that you can drive on the beach...it was packed with cars. The only place to run our dog was in area where vehicles were driving. The beach was littered with trash and debris. The motel location is its only plus....

We loved the casual atmosphere and friendly people but man that room stunk! It smelled like it had gotten mold in it and maybe someone just tried to paint over it. I didn't ask for another room because we were only staying one night but I should have. Our son had a room that did not smell like that so...

Alyssa at the front desk was great! Friendly & helpful, super nice! Great employee! Warm and welcoming staff. The hotel is wonderful! Great boardwalk access to the beach. Warm and fun paint colors inside and out. Cozy room, relaxing balconies with the sound of the ocean nearby. Great vacation spot!

Our check-in process took a little longer than expected and we didn't find the desk attendant very friendly...just business-like. I had recently had knee surgery and was concerned about getting up to my room. No worries! The ramp from the parking lot was great! The room was very nice and clean and we enjoyed sitting on our balcony. There is...

We checked in, it was the night desk girl's first night. She was so sweet. Everyone is friendly. Right on the beach. Super clean! Cafe/bar which is great. Highly recommend this place. The only regret was we couldn't stay longer!

The hotel is very nice! Its clean, not busy durning the week and the office staff was pleasant. The only bad thing is durning the high wind we were right next to the door into the building ( RM 421) so every time the door would slam it would shake out door. Other than that it was very quiet. The...

This was our first time visiting Surfside beach and I was impressed. We were wanting away from the crowds and tourists and that is exactly what we found. Our hotel was clean and had a big balcony with amazing views. The beach is also well maintained daily, so it was a lot cleaner than Galveston. During the week the hotel...

Comparable to a Motel 6 but right on the beach. We had a ocean view with a private deck. The room was clean, had a flat screen tv and a fridge. The hotel has a beach front restaurant/bar and the prices were reasonable.

Spring get away to visit family I saw some nice beach weather so decided to drive from Houston to this beach town. I wasn't booking anything just kinda "playing by ear" just checking how things faired. Drove right up onto a nice clean beach and I was very surprised by how little commercial businesses were on the ocean front. Decided...
