By far, best in the area. Clean and comfy. Love the style with the rocking chairs on the porches (ours faced the wide-open back) with the breezeways between the rooms. Especially coming off of two days camping in the Chisos Basin, and then another overnight trip up the river - the teens said this looked like a castle :) (Actual...

The cabins are new, spacious, clean, and accommodating. Let me try a few of my highlights. I walked in and I said, "Wow these are REALLY nice!!". Then you dig through the details. Kitchen has EVERYTHING- wine glasses, coffee cups, corkscrew, REALLY good coffee and much .. much more. Queen beds are very comfortable (give it an 8 out 10)....

Individual cabins, very clean, southwestern decor, plenty of room for 2 queen beds, kitchen corner with eating area, spacious bathroom although the shower itself is quite small. The room is adequate for a family with kids, though 4 adults would be tight. The premises are nicely landscaped with an outdoor fire, horseshoe pit, and several BBQ areas. Each cabin has...

We (retired Virginia couple) spent two nights in one of Far Flung's charming casitas in mid-October. These units are spacious and comfortable; the staff are friendly and accommodating; the drive into the Park is easy and very beautiful. Two days allow time to explore the route down to Rio Grande Village, Chisos Basin, and the Ross Maxwell Scenic Drive ....

New, clean, convenient to the National Park and the BB Ranch State Park. Kitchen, TV, WiFi....and did I already say clean. There are less expensive places to stay in that area that also have more to offer.....like insects, critters, smells, stains, noisy neighbors.... I now stay here every time I visit Big Bend (about twice a year). I'll be there...

This was the perfect choice for us. It was so nice to come back to air conditioning and a bed after a day hiking or kayaking on the Rio Grande. If your looking for a place where you can enjoy all that Big Bend and Terlingua have to offer without having to camp this is it!

My wife and I stayed in cabin 12 for 3 nights. This place was a gem in a very small very poor area ( however there is plenty to eat in the ghost town). The cabin was very nice and seemed new. The cedar lined walls give it a great welcoming fragrance. The staff is awesome and very helpful. The...

This is the best hotel near Big Bend, really just minutes from the park entrance, or 45 minutes to the Chisos Basin hikes. Terlingua has some actually good restaurants, so that's a plus for Terlingua. On the other hand it's very hot. Over 100 in late September. Phew. The rooms are very nice, large, clean and comfortable. Rustic styling with...
