The hotel advertises room service until 10:00 PM, but on the night I arrived the kitchen staff decided to quit early and go home at 9:30 pm. Desk clerk mentioned the satisfaction guarantee and promised if I ever returned she would give me a room for free. I'll never return to collect. And, I was charged the full amount of...

HOTEL’S FAVOURITE REVIEW
Reviewed 24 December 2016

We stayed here Friday, 16 December thru Sunday, 18 December. This was by far the best Hilton Garden Inn experience. We were welcomed as a Diamond member right away. The front desk provided extra coffee and hot chocolate as well as water. The breakfast service was outstanding; one of the best omelets we have tasted. Service was excellent. Even the...

Dear Michael S, Thank you for the kudos. Senior management of the hotel (this includes myself) are nothing without the fantastic team members who make the operation run every day. Basically what you can expect from a Garden Inn: standardized rooms and food. Nothing amazing but large and clean rooms. Service was OK-ish. Check out took forever as staff was not well trained. Dinner was disturbed by overly noisy music/tvs. We had to enjoy a TV and two different sources of music...

Every Garden Inn properties are franchises, except the one on El Segundo, CA which is owned and operated by Hilton. This is the property that sets the standards for all Garden Inns. How do I know this? I did consulting work for Hilton years ago and stayed at this location and got to know the general manager who explained how...

Very clean hotel! Very convenient location to shop at the Woodlands Mall if you are making a weekend of it! We arrived late (10:30pm) and were greeted and cared for right away by pleasant front desk staff. Got settled in our room and right on the other side of the wall, sounded like a cross between a final four game...

Very good experience staying at this hotel. Staff are very friendly and the facilities are clean and the rooms are large. The fitness room is quite small, but very few people seem to use it, so you are almost on your own.

Dear josepteresa, Thank you for your kind review. Aside from the fitness room in the hotel, we do have an agreement with a local gym that will grant you access complimentary should you need access to more equipment than what we provide. Please see a guest service agent during you next visit for details. Best Regards, Gabriel Wall

Good location if going to Woodlands, staff nice, main lobby good, smaller but nice pool (not heated). But rooms need upgrade badly, temp hard to get warm, felt very moist in air, and had to pay for breakfast (fairly stiff price), bar not open or staffed at even 10 pm, and there are simply better options right there (including a...

Dear Slugg0, Thank you for your feedback on our hotel. I am sorry that you found our hotel less than satisfactory. Our restaurant does provide breakfast at a fee, however, it is a significantly higher quality than our competitors. We provide a full-service restaurant with made-to-order food from scratch. As an additional value, we offer breakfast inclusive rates that provide...

This was a business trip and my arrival time was late in the evening. Desk personnel were pleasant and prompt. The room was clean and the furnishings were comfortable. My departure was early the next morning and checkout was a breeze. Next time I'm in the area this is where I will stay.

Stayed two nights and enjoyed very friendly service, great breakfast and late simple dinner. The outdoor fire pit was great to relax by on the cool evenings and there is much to do very close by. Room was immaculate and very quiet. There is a bar an short menu dinner open til ten.

The only thing that would make Hilton hotels better would be free breakfast as opposed to charging for it. Even then, it isn't a deal breaker. The rooms are always great, staff is always quick to accommodate, and the stay is always pleasant.

Gabriel W, General Manager at Hilton Garden Inn Houston/The Woodlands, responded to this review

Dear Paul H, Thank you for your very positive reviews. We understand that many other focused-service hotels include a complimentary breakfast. With the other hotels that have a built-in cost to their breakfast, it is usually at the expense of the quality of the food they provide. At Hilton Garden Inn, we have made-to-order omelets, eggs, french toast, pancakes and...
