My wife found this B&B and we were both very happy with the entire experience. Owners were very nice and helpful when I explained I had to leave at 7:00am, even providing an early breakfast to send on my way. Included scones and french press coffee - no need for Starbucks here. We will definitely stay here when we return...

The B&B was the best we've been to in the states. Definitely give it a try if you're in the area. Just about 30-40 miles south of Dallas. Mary & Howard were outstanding and welcoming hosts with subtle attention to every little detail...from greeting us with a glass of wine, giving us great suggestions for dinner to the soft comfy...

My colleague and I needed to work in Corsicana for a couple of days, but we were tired of staying in the normal business hotels. When we saw this gem, we thought we'd take a chance. The house is quaint and perfectly intriguing for any Anglophile! There is definitely an eclectic vibe going on that makes you smile. From the...

My wife and I spent one night here. It's a lovely home with fun and kitschy decor. Howard and May are extremely accommodating - when asked about a hair dryer, Mary actually went to the store and there was one by our door when we returned from dinner! The rooms and Bathrooms are all very spacious and the beds king-...

My husband and I stayed here for the first time over valentines day weekend for a relaxing getaway. It was incredibly convenient from Dallas and couldn't have been a more perfect escape. The decor is absolutely stunning and the little touches throughout the inn did not go unnoticed. The owners Mary and Howard could not have been more hospitable or...

We left Dallas for a weekend retreat in Waxahachie. Love this place! Very convenient and beautiful furnishing, spacious. Proprietor's are lovely, friendly and thoughtful in every detail of this gorgeous old mansion. Highly recommend a stay here, great for couples, girlfriend weekends, adult families, young couples, everyone. Waxahachie is a fun place to visit!

When you lose your sense for new adventure it pays to be married to someone who hasn't. We started late on a traffic/construction Friday to our lake house and as we poked along it was obvious that we were in for a long night so we looked for a place to stay in Waxahachie, normally 30 minutes from Dallas but...

Me and my husband had a chance to getaway for the night and had a wonderful time. We stayed in room #2. The room was very spacious and the bed was so comfy. We didn't even want to get up the next morning. The breakfast was delicious and house has tons of British charm. The hostesses we so welcoming and friendly....

The other five-star reviews aren't lying: This is a great B&B. Let me just mention a few of the things we particularly enjoyed. First, the location is great, on a street with several other charming old houses. The 4-mile walking trail along the Waxahachie Creek is close; it runs between two parks and is a great place to walk, run,...

We picked this wonderful B&B because we are anglophiles and loved the pictures on the website showing the charming house and the beautiful decor. We love Waxahachie anyway and love to tour the vintage homes on the annual tour, but wanted to book a weekend away for the holiday and enjoy a longer visit. From the moment we arrived, we...
