My husband and I stayed at the Ruby Red Bird for 4 nights over spring break 2016. Absolutely loved this place. Totally secluded, own private hot tub (which was clean and hot when we got there), own pool (which was clean, but weather still kinda chilly--although I did get in cause it seemed like a waste to not). Kitchen had...

Dragonfly is the most expensive of the three cabins and I can understand why. This is an excellent place to stay if you are looking for complete seclusion. It is on a gravel road with very little traffic. If you look carefully you can see the rooftops of the nearby cabins but that is about all you can see from...

We have stayed at all the cabins on the Canyon Sunrise property and love them all. We return again and again, usually 3-4 times a year. We have taken family and friends here to celebrate holidays, the cabins are far enough away to offer complete privacy but close enough friends can mosey over from their cabin to yours. We have...

My wife and I both work high stress jobs and live in a densely populated area. We wanted to plan a trip to escape to the beauty of the Texas Hill Country and recharge our batteries. I have rented cabins in TX, OK, AR, and MO and have never found a cabin that is secluded away from others. Most places...

We waited too long get a bargain for Christmas. What we did get was a one bathroom, two bedroom cabin with one of the bedrooms locked as well as a large closet closed off. We did get a reasonably sized (for the 2 of us) kitchen with good appliances and basic utensils. We got a Jacuzzi brand hot tub which...

We rented the Mariposa for four days. It's a comfortable but small little cabin with a nice hot tub. It was nice enough but we were disappointed in the lack of a view and the tiny kitchen. If you need to do anything more than make a cup of coffee or heat something in the microwave, it's a challenge. Be...

This group of three cabins is advertised as upscale and luxury and I agree to a point, but I would also have to say that's an exaggeration because it's showing its age. The main benefit of the site is the privacy of the cabins and the above ground pool for each. This the second time we visited Sunrise cabins. The...

We stayed here for a mini honeymoon right after our wedding and wish we'd booked a whole week. We stayed at the Mariposa cabin and loved, loved, loved it. The reservation team is a turn off and we wish the owners would go with another company, but other than that, our review is glowing. The lights were on with soft...

I was skeptical about stay at one of these houses since there are so few reviews and information about this place. I went ahead and booked it anyway, and it turned out OK. I will just give you a quick run down of my experience and give you my thoughts. The communication from the lodging place could be a lot...

“Pick this cabin over the other two if you want 100% seclusion. One of the other's had the swimming pool partially visible from the road.”

“All the cabins are wonderful. The dragonfly is a larger cabin, and the bedroom is separate. The pool area is also larger. All are only one bedroom though so any of them are perfect for a couple's get away”
