This hotel is part of Ruby's monopoly, rather grandiosely called Bryce Canyon City, just outside the entrance to the park. Result: it is somewhat expensive, and the adjacent evening eating options are not at all good. Again, the title "Grand Hotel" is a bit of an overstatement. On the other hand, our king bed room was sizeable and comfortable, we...

What is it with hotel companies reasoning that multi storey timber construction is suitable for hotels??? This is a good example of where steel and concrete are better (ok, worse for the planet I admit). The floors are so flexible that they create a booming or creaking (weight dependent) on every footstep so if you can't get a 4th floor...

The location is really good, just right outside the entrance to the National Park. The motel itself is fine but a day earlier I stayed in a motel in St. George that had a similar room with similar ameneties for one-quarter the price. I realize being so close to Bryce is prime real estate but it seemed excessive to charge...

Unfortunately the company that owns this hotel owns pretty much everything around Bryce, the lack of competition seems to inflate pricing beyond fair and encourage mediocrity. If I were to go back to Bryce (and I'd love to - it's beautiful) I would look into accommodation at one of the smaller villages a little further away.

Practically the only hotel at the entrance of Bryce Canyon. With this captive market the accomodation and location of the hotel is good however the food in the hotel and other outside facilities is below acceptable standard. and of poor value.

This far surpasses the usual accommodation offered in many small towns of Utah - large room and spacious bathroom, finishings of very good quality; luxurious! Nice buffet breakfast room overlooking the patio and pool with an extended offering of hot and cold items.

Definitely the best hotel option in the limited area. It is clean, contains the basic amenities, located super close to the park entrance (5 min drive), and has lots of free parking. The park shuttle, if you choose to ride it, is a short 5 minute walk away. Free breakfast. Free wifi.

Stayed here for 2 nights on our trip round the Grand Circle.Staff were professional and efficient at reception. The room was large with 2 queen beds though they were the smallest "queen" beds we came across on the whole tour. Large bathroom area with all amenities. The buffet breakfast was extensive though there weren't enough seats to cope with everyone....

We had a very nice , clean and quiet room. This is a great place to rest prior or during a visit to Bryce Canyon. It is also a neat spot to enjoy a little western USA "culture" with the surrounding eating and entertaining spots. The hotel had a very nice breakfast, but the breakfast staff could be a little...

This is an excellent hotel. I haven't stayed in a Best Western for years. It is close to Bryce Canyon National Park, has a great General Store across the road, and is near many local attractions (including horseback riding).
