We stayed here bc of the nice proximity to Bryce Canyon. It’s right of the highway. Very quite and small rooms. For the most part clean. No major complaints besides the following. There was no sign visible from the road that shows this motel. We entered the parking lot and didn’t even realize it was the place bc it does look abandon. Maybe bc of the times we went during COVID. We entered the lobby and no one was there to greet us. They had a paper with our name and room key. We didn’t see any hotel staff during our stay. But we only spent a night. We didn’t mind this bc it was quick and hassle free. Overall very basic nothing fancy and nice for one night.
Bryce Uptop Lodge had very good rates considering how close it is to Bryce Canyon National park. The rooms are not large, and a design flaw had the large walk-in closet with luggage rack in the bathroom instead of being part of the actual sleeping area. The building seemed new, but it also seemed unfinished, like it’s a work in progress. They had coffee in the main building lobby in the morning, but no breakfast was set up. The room was clean, but it’s definitely a no-frills motel. For being so close to a very popular national park, the low rates don’t leave us any room for complaints.
Clean, thick clean towels, soft sheets and a big closet that is great for gear n mult bags. Small room fine for a couple. Everything worked. Friendly, responsive staff. I would stay here again. We are on a three week vacation and have stayed in multiple.
Don't stop here!!!! No one to answer phones for questions. Rooms poor quality. The room we stayed in had coffee filter still in coffee maker. We were told breakfast restaurant was open early and it wasn't open at all. Had to switch rooms because of water leak and carpet was buckling...smelled moldy. Keep on trucking past Bryce Canyon Up Top...
I stayed there Aug 12th, there were bed bugs in my room. Stay away from here until the owners get it professionally treated and certified free of bed bugs. I am quite paranoid my home getting infested with bed bugs now.
