The least expensive hotel in Bryce Canyon City. Nice to be able to drive up to the door of the room and unload. Rooms are dark and lights don't always work. Plumbing is funky, bathtub drain is extremely slow. Ice machine was out of ice even though the hotel was only about 1/6 full. Terrible beds.. Our rate from Agoda included a breakfast voucher for the hot breakfast buffet across the street at Ruby's, but not all the offers we saw said that breakfast was included. You can use the pool and hot tub over at the adjacent Best Western Grand hotel.

Average size rooms were clean and comfortable. Wifi worked well. Received a breakfast voucher for the Best Western across the street(really good breakfast). Check-in was fast, over wise we saw no staff.

What should have been a nice place was just ick. The cleaning crew used way too much air freshener. What were they trying to hide? We propped open the door and opened the windows to air it out for three - four hours just to make it so we could stand to sleep in it. Convenient location. Gal checking us in was very nice.

This is one of the worst places we’ve stayed in a very long time. The carpet was filthy and threadbare in places. The mattresses were old and sagging and the “fitted” sheets didn’t fit and kept coming loose if you moved at all during the night. Killed a cockroach within the first 15 minutes of being in the room. The air conditioner was as loud as a jet engine, so we turned it off and endured a stuffy, warm room. Check-in and check-out is VERY confusing. Virtually everything in Bryce has the name Ruby associated with it. Bryce View Lodge is adjacent to a Best Western Plus and across the street from Best Western Plus Ruby’s. All seem to share the same reservation system, but you can’t use or get Best Western points with BVL. Very confusing. When I complained, I was given 15% off. Whoop-Dee-doo. While it is the “budget” option in Bryce, being a tourist destination, the “budget” prices are what you would expect to pay for a midrange room anywhere else.

We stayed for two nights while we visited the park. It was clean and close to breakfast and the park shuttle picks you up right on property. It is dated. We didn’t need any more than a clean room and comfortable bed. We were in the park all day. You walk right across the street for breakfast. It is a great location.
