Our second visit to this campground and it's probably our favorite of any we have stayed at. Surroundings are beautiful. It's away from any major highways and the night sky is amazing. Bathrooms are kept clean. There are some full hook-ups and several tent sites. Lots of space in between sites. Make reservations ahead of time. They get booked up....

After Bryce canyon, do not head back to Vegas or St. Georges, you must go to the Kodachrome State Park for another great park in Utah. Yes a small park but nice little hikes around...campground is clean...and rangers are kind and knowledgeabale.and find yourself a spot for the sunset...take the Panorama trail or Angel's Palace..short hike but nice. And stop...

Kodachrome Basin is a relatively small park with several nice hikes. I hiked them all in 3 days. Typical Utah red rock but it was very nice, peaceful and well worth the drive. It was a great getaway from the crowded National Parks. A great place to relax. The nature trail was especially nice, I enjoyed the quotes along the...

This is a quiet, peaceful place to relax and take it easy. They offer a nice camping area, scenic trails, and lots to see and experience. The State Park is ideally located for a quick trip to Bryce Canyon, Grosvenor Arch, or Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument. The trails are very family friendly and offer an easy hike for the little...

We spent two nights here and really enjoyed it. The views are amazing - the basin surrounds you and there is a lovely view in every direction. It was great having RV hookups, and the facilities were really convenient and exceptionally clean. This place is pretty remote, and there is no cell service. It was a little tough adjusting to...

We loved staying here and it was nice to get away from the busyness of the national parks. We stayed here before heading to Bryce and enjoyed doing the Panorama Trail and riding our bikes. The landscape is gorgeous - very similar to parts of Bryce but without the crowds. The kids also did the Jr Ranger program. Horseback riding...

Campground in perfect landscape and much less people than in Bryce. only drawback: the campground should have been built with less drive ways = asphalt. Good shade on the tent sites Sanitary installation in perfect shape

Lovely State Park, very quiet and peaceful doesn't seem to attract the crowds like the other parks. Our America The Beautiful pass wasn't accepted and we paid $8 admission. We followed the map and drove to most of the stops and had a walk to Shakespeare's Arch, followed the Panorama Trail and the Nature Trail, didn't see another person at...

Kodachrome Basin was amazing. Colorful rock formations and multiple hike options. If you're looking for an easy going short hike or something a little more lenthy with some twists and turns, this is the place. I loved my visit here!

This park far exceeded my expectations! We loved the Bryce View Campground: no generators, nicely spaced sites, very well maintained. We enjoyed the very nice showers. All the facilities were very clean and well maintained. The hikes in the park were wonderful. We hiked Shakespeare Arch trail and Angel's Palace trail and would highly recommend both. We especially enjoyed Ranger...
