On the to Flaming Gorge dam, stop at Red Canyon. There's great things to do and see. Took a bunch of us for breakfast. They did an amazing job with the small kitchen. And the food was great. I think they have horseback riding.

This is a great location just a couple of miles from the Red Canyon overlook. There was a deer herd on the grounds when I was there. The Alpine cabin I stayed in was cozy, with a refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker, but no utensils...More

Absolutely beautiful. Friendly and helpful staff. Very much enjoyed the horse back riding. The guide was awesome with my six year old who was nervous about riding for the first time. The restaurant was delicious.

Did you call the lodge? Their number is (435) 889-3759 and they would be the most likely to have that information.
