I stayed here 2 nights as part of a family event. This was my first experience at a KOA, but I wasn't impressed. I was in a family of 4 with 2 teenagers, and we had very little to do other than put-put mini golf....More
We stayed in a "kabin" for two nights for a family reunion. This was my first stay at a KOA campground. The property is big and they have lots of options for camping, cabins, RV,s etc. We found the pricing to be ridiculous for a...More
We stopped by the KOA because we saw that they had a fun bike rental. As we waited to be helped, my children walked over to the multiperson bike/car contraption. They had barely reached it when the worker shouted over, "Don't let them touch that!"...More
Nice campground. Great activities for kids and adults. Putt-putt, volleyball, swimming pool, horse shoes... This Campground has some KOA Supersites. The Wi-fi access was excellent. Grocery store on-site. Also, ACE hardware.
A great place for young kids. Tons of them running around and having a fantastic time. If you want some quiet and relaxation, I would not recommend. Employees are friendly and helpful. FYI: you have to drive to the lake.

Yes, very safe for small dog (on leash). Many people have them. Most things to do have to do with outdoors. The lake, of course, with boat, wave runner, etc rentals available. There are also bike rentals and a good bike path. There's Pickleville Playhouse, who do 2 different shows each summer. Very fun. There's a cave about 30 min away, with a guided tour. There's hiking trails around, 4-wheeling trails, horse riding.
