Detailed Reviews
My husband and I did a driving trip from Denver through New Mexico, Arizona, Nevada, Utah and back home this month. Out of all the hotels we stayed in,, this was the best. The view of the river was incredible, the room was spacious and the owners very thoughtfully made sure that the room was equipped with everything to make our stay comfortable. Amenities included cookies, popcorn, coffee, sodas and energy drinks, as well as a little kitchen area with refrigerator, sink, coffee maker and microwave. The bathroom had a walk-in shower and dispensers of soap, lotion, shampoo, condition, etc. No wasting! Also the room decor was fabulous - well thought out and lovely. The plants are a nice touch.
Lastly, a full breakfast from the restaurant's menu was available the next morning - included in the room rate. You can't go wrong staying here. We will definitely be back!

Conveniently located on main road off interstate at bridge, only three rooms (We stayed in Geyser Room), sitting on the Green River, behind/below the Tamarisk Restaurant (where you check in). Park at the restaurant, short walk and 3 small steps to your room, unbelievable complimentary breakfast (choose any entree off menu). Also no need to drive anywhere after a long day of exploring, as dinner is served in the restaurant above. Hospitable staff, clean, AC, modern rooms (room purifier a bonus), fridge filled with complimentary Powerade, waters, soft drinks, Kuerig coffee maker. Bottomless shampoo, body wash, conditioner in bathroom (shower, no tub). One of our favorite memorable stays on our road trip to National Parks. Don't skip the beautiful drive to Capitol Reef National Park. Many state parks close by, local staff very helpful. We will definitely revisit when in this area again.

Wow - what a wonderful place to stay! This solo traveler found a surprisingly upscale and unique lodging opportunity in the tiny community of Green River, UT. Three spacious guestrooms are tucked under the Tamarisk Restaurant with unobstructed views of the Green River. Each has original art, are cozily contemporary, feel more like loft studios than a hotel room, and are ULTRA clean. Bed is firm but comfortable. The kitchenette has coffee (no tea, but guessing you can request it) and complementary beverages (sodas and sports drinks). Bathroom has fluffy towels, and lovely bath and lotion products. There is a large screen TV with Apple TV, an air filter, a seating area, and more! The staff was friendly and accommodating; the service was excellent. The upstairs Tamarisk Restaurant has a good variety of menu choices, the food was well cooked, and presented nicely. Great place to stop for a night or home base for a few days while exploring Goblin Valley, Capitol Reef, San Rafael Swell, &/or other Canyonlands areas. The VERY reasonable price includes a full breakfast that you order from the regular menu. Why stay at a chain hotel when you can stay here? I'll be back! Thank you. P.S. Bee sure to take home a jar of local honey from the restaurant. Yummmmm!

I stayed two nights here this July. It’s a lovely property right along the Green River. The room was large and comfortable, with a fridge full of complementary drinks and some snacks provided as well. The white noise machine was a welcome accessory, since my room was close to the bridge that spans the river. The included breakfast is anything you want from the restaurant menu in the restaurant upstairs. Only two caveats: there is no do not disturb sign, so you get housekeeping even if it’s not needed, and the Book Cliffs room, with has a lovely mosaic of the Cliffs on the wall, is directly below the restaurant kitchen, so you might want one of the other two rooms if food smells bother you. It didn’t bother me.

We had a mostly great stay at the Skyfall Guestrooms. The check-in process was fast and easy. The man who helped us (I think he is the owner) was incredibly kind and welcoming. We stayed in the Book Cliffs Guestroom, and it was so well-done and perfect for our stay. We made use of the Keurig coffees every morning. There were complimentary sodas, waters, Powerades, and Oreo cookies that were replenished every day. So great for our full days of hiking! There was also hand soap, lotion, shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner provided that all smelled so good! I wish I could find out the brands, so I could buy them myself. The TV was huge, and we enjoyed relaxing at the end of the day, watching Ted Lasso on Apple TV. The best perks were the daily breakfasts at the restaurant. Lots of yummy options and very generous portions, we took our leftovers and ate them for lunch. The not so great things: I found the mattress too firm, but that's just me. We had dinner at the Tamarisk 2 of the 3 nights of our stay. It was so convenient, but the food was just okay. The most disappointing thing was the service from the waitstaff, not including the very hardworking owner. It seemed like if you weren't local or a regular, they weren't going to be nice to you. The waitresses took our orders and got our food efficiently. They checked on us, but they were quite gruff. No friendly smile; all business. At one breakfast, the waitress rolled her eyes when I asked for water to refill my water bottle myself.

For us, this was just a one-night stop on a road trip but we really wish we could have stayed longer. The room was near perfect. It had everything we needed and we appreciated the white noise machine (wish more hotels had these). The included full made-to-order breakfast in a restaurant was just the icing on the cake. This place is a rare find on a budget road trip and it might just bring us back to Green River very soon.

A great place- original design, decor, with a pleasing view and a super breakfast. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
Note that the rooms are not wheelchair accessible. You walk down an outdoor ramp and then down a few steps to get to the level of the rooms, which have exterior doors (and small patios) facing the Green River. My suggestion then to management is to at least put up a hand rail down the ramp, since the slope of the ramp continues in the embankment right down to the water. For those who are carrying heavy luggage, or wheeled luggage, or are elderly, a handrail might be useful.
All in all a fantastic place in this town. PS- make reservations for dinner, as it does get crowded with travelers and locals after 50pm

We stayed for one night in the Crystal Geyser room. It was very clean and comfortable. We appreciated the mini fridge stocked with water and soft drinks. There was also a Keurig for morning coffee. The room rate included breakfast at the Tamarisk Restaurant which was delicious. The room was quiet and the air conditioning worked well (important given it was 100 degrees outside). I would definitely stay here again.

This is the ideal place to stay if you are leaving Capitol Reef to go to Canyonlands or leaving Canyonlands to visit Capitol Reef. It is a very nice place to stay and it is much less expensive than staying an extra night in Torrey or Moab. We were in Capitol Reef for a day and a half and left there, stopped at Goblin State Park and then drove to Green River for dinner at the Tamarisk and a stay at the Skyfall Guestrooms. Added bonus- a free fabulous breakfast the next morning before driving just 1 hour to the island in the Sky Visitor’s Center in Canyonlands NP.

I've stayed in nearby (50 miles away) Moab many times, but wanted to stay in Green River to hike in places like Goblin Valley State Park. The Skyfall Guestrooms are excellent -- modern, stylish, comfortable, and a great place to relax. I was in the Book Cliffs Room; each of the three rooms has different decor. The room was super clean, and it had a good fridge and microwave. Breakfast at Tamarisk Restaurant, right above the three rooms, was included. I'll definitely stay here again. (Note that you'll hear some noise from trucks on a bridge over the Green River just outside of the rooms, but it didn't disturb my sleep at all).

Unfortunately not at this time.
The rooms had only one queen bed.
