Clean, functional and good service. Arrived late but room was all ready anyway. Front desk helped out with several things over the 3 nights I was there. Great overview of the area with information on sights, food, etc. is provided in each room. Good proximaty to Goblin Valley, Little Wild Horse slot canyons and much more. I would go back...

Hanksville, Ut, is about as far from anything one can get in the USA and was a bit surprised at how good the Whispering Sands was. It was desert (except for one of 3-gas-stations in town) in 3-directions with the only restaurant -- BLONDIE's and quite good in itself -- across the street.

Clean and comfortable hotel, convenient for an overnight stop between Goblin Valley and Capitol Reef National Park. Beds were comfortable, the hotel was quiet, and the breakfast was nice, with boiled eggs, yogurt, cereals, etc.

On our 10 day trip the most comfortable bed we slept in. Nice clean property, very quiet, has a laundry area. Good restaurants in the area recommended by the staff. Would definitely stay again if in the area.

This is the second time I've stayed at this motel. The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable of the area. The room was nice and modern. Everything you need in a motel. The beds were comfortable. However, the wifi was very sloooooooow. I don't know if it's the motel's problem, or just that the whole town gets slow internet. I...

this is a nice little motel. We had a "cabin" roomwith two queens, a micro and refrig. It was quiet and clean. The Internet was not functioning all of the time tho. I would stay here again but I would suggest to the owner that no breakfast would be better than the continental breakfast offered at the cafe/gas station next...

Hanksville is in the middle of nowhere. We were expecting marginal accommodations. This place far exceeded that. It was clean and quiet with very friendly, helpful staff. As a plus, it even includes free breakfast at the burger bar next door. The minus is that the breakfast is very limited.

Whispering Sands is a very clean very comfortable motel, you also get a complementary breakfast at Stans Gas station, which we weren't expecting. Reception staff are very friendly and helpful. Hanksville is a very small town but a great location to stay for visiting Capital Reef NP Goblin Valley state park, Glen Canyon recreation area. There are also a couple...
