Detailed Reviews
Don’t be fooled by the look of this motel. No, it is not a Big Chain hotel, but it was charming and fit the bill. We were greeted by the super friendly “Elaine” who bent over backwards to make sure everything was perfect. Yes, the room is small, but it was spotlessly clean, and very comfortable. We even sat outside on the porch to have a beer.
The ribeye steak we had in the restaurant, recommended by Elaine, was perfectly seasoned and delicious. Elaine suggested we have a brownie with ice cream for dessert. It was perfect.
Don’t pass this one over. Give yourself a treat, and stay here.

A cozy and comfy place to call home for the night...friendly, family owned and welcoming after our long day exploring the nearby National Parks and Monuments. The attached restaurant was very accommodating to our dietary needs and gladly prepared just what we needed before we turned in for a refreshing night's sleep, (with the windows wide open!). We loved our Hatch Station interlude and highly recommend it. Relax and enjoy!

Hutch is very small and this accodomodation is one of the few in the Bryca Canyon area. The check in is the near restaurant/drugstore, the guy here has been very fast (I appreciate it). At first the room seems a log cabin, but it's clean and tidy. Pillows are terrible.

This is a great little mom and pop place to stay a few nights! The lady who checked us in (Elaine I believe) was very sweet and also ran the food area and store. She was so very busy doing it all but kept her cool and was kind and well versed in her job! The room was clean as well as the store and restaurant. Although older place well taken care of. The price was great and not too far from Bryce Canyon National Park. Would come again.

Clean comfortable dining area. Good food and friendly service. The BBQ ribs were moist and fall off the bone tender. Crispy but not overdone fries. Drinks are self serve fountain drinks or drinks from the cooler. Would definitely stop there again.

Cute little small-town motel hooked on to a convenience store and cafe. Keep in mind the photos of rooms aren’t always the room you’ll get. Our room was tiny. We were tripping over our luggage. The bathroom was super small with the sink in the main sleeping area. I have to admit, though, we ended up liking the charm of the place and the friendliness of the workers at the store. The food was good and the convenience of having a store there saved us a trip into town.

My daughter (14) and I spent a night here for a quick, last-minute stay on our way through Utah (couldn’t find a camp spot nearby because everything was shut down for the virus). We didn’t need or want much, so the more expensive places were just out of the question. This was perfect. Staff was friendly at sign in and check out. Room was very clean and bed was quite comfortable. Perfect price for nothing but a a night’s stay. In-between Bryce and Zion national parks but a little closer to Bryce.

We were here to get away from wildfire smoke in California but we still needed to work during the week. This place had surprisingly great internet and 4G ATT coverage. High res Zoom calls with no lag.
I know people stay here to go to Brice Canyon, but this tiny town of 150 people is also lovely. Beautiful hiking and running paths on the winding gravel country roads right out your door. Even their own mini canyon at the end of a gorgeous 2 hour walk or 40 minute run with a couple nice hills for views. Wonderful for lunch breaks or going running before and after work.

The staff was very friendly even though they were handling multiple tasks. The rooms were small, older, and lacking amenities such as a microwave, but they were clean and comfortable. The cafe offered tasty food at a good price. I would stay here again.

After we checked in, we went back to eat in the restaurant. I ordered a rib eye and my husband ordered a chicken sandwich. My steak was perfect and my husband’s sandwich was delicious. The woman running the place, checked us in, took our food Gorder and cooked our food. She is a wonder woman. When I worked I wish I had 3-4 of her!!!! Going back for breakfast!
