My wife and I spent our wedding anniversary here and had a wonderful time. The home has been recently renovated and is clean and comfortable. The owners were very accommodating and shared much of the fascinating history behind this wonderful home. Warm cookies in the evening and a delicious hot breakfast made to order in the morning were perfect. We would definitely stay here again when we're in the area. We stayed in the spa room which was quite comfortable. Floor was a bit squeaky, but nothing that we couldn't live with. Also, the window AC unit allowed a bit of road noise into the bedroom, but fortunately there wasn't much traffic to disturb us after 10pm.
We just spent the weekend here and it was marvelous. The property is just darling and the owners Steve and Paige take great pride in their bed and breakfast. Parking was easy and accessible. Property is clean and very well maintained, picture perfect really! The rooms are on the 2nd and 3rd level. If you have limited mobility the rooms may be difficult to access as it is being a home built in 1902. We stayed in the Sundance Spa room. We loved the gift basket with bubble baths and such. The jetted tub was plenty big for 2. On the 3rd floor there was also a kitchen accessible to guests with a microwave (popcorn included!) fridge, stove, and even a table for two. The room was quiet and the décor was breathtakingly beautiful. I loved the small details that added to the charm. At night there is a patio with an outdoor heater, fire table, and popcorn lights. Steve even brought out some drinks and snacks for us while we were out there. One night we were surprised with freshly baked chocolate chip cookies! And then there is the breakfast!!!! It was gourmet all the way. They have a machine that makes fresh squeezed orange juice. The crepes are amazing (try the American!!!) They also offer made to order eggs, omelets, fruit, and cereals. There are many restaurants and shops within walking distance (Try Global Grill!). Other things to note: There is WIFI, probably not a great place to bring kids, located in a quiet neighborhood off the street that takes you to Midway (about 3 miles away,) and bed and pillows were comfortable. All in all it was the perfect couple’s getaway. We will defiantly be back!…
The American crepe I had for breakfast made the trip worthwhile—I would drive to Heber just to have another one! Steve and Paige are wonderful hosts, it felt like we were staying with old friends. The depth of the spa tub in the Sundance suite made relaxing easy. It’s way bigger than it looked in pictures. Joseph Murdock is my wife’s great grandpa and we were thrilled to learn so much about the history of this fascinating house. We will be back!
One of the best b&b experiences I've had. The owner is *so* friendly and spent as much time as we wanted talking about the history of the building and area. The room was clean and very comfortable. And breakfast was fantastic. Highly recommended!
So fun. Didn’t know what to expect but was so pleasantly surprised I can’t wait to go back. Breakfast was incredible. The host, Steve, was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Rooms have a lot of character are clean and beautifully maintained. Definitely a repeat
