Detailed Reviews
I stayed here for 3 nights on a business trip. The outside of the hotel and the rooms appeared to have been recently remodeled. The staff was very polite. Now for not so good parts. The furniture in my room appeared to have been purchased from a garage sale or something because it was all torn up. The electrical ports by the bed did not work and there was a huge pile of trash, that got bigger everyday just off the main hall. For a Courtyard this place fell way short.

Arrived during a severe snowstorm...we couldn't see anything around the hotel. The government rate room had two nice-looking queen beds, a good desk, and a nice flat screen that swivels. The bathroom and closet were in dire need of updating to measure up to the rest of the room. The thick beige shower curtain kept any light from entering the shower. Something leaked water during every shower. When I got out of the the shower there was a seriously large pool of water; every time. The sink area was cramped but clean. Tiny tiny coffee maker. Mirrored bi-fold closet doors were tough to open.
The staff really made the difference. They took care of every tiny request with such grace. I don't know why the breakfast buffet wasn't included. Two weeks ago I staying at the Courtyard Marriott in Montana and it was included, at the exact same rate.
They did allow our group to use a small conference room for a pizza party celebrating Fat Tuesday.
The location is excellent. Cracker Barrel, Chili's, Jason's Deli, Super Target, Outback, Noodle Express were within walking distance, as was an award winning East Indian restaurant that we really enjoyed. We walked to two multi-plexes and a large Mall. Lowes is just north of the hotel.
I hope this helps you decide if this is the right hotel for your stay.

We stayed here just passing through on a long road trip. Lots of construction going on and the front of the hotel had no access. The room was comfy and the front desk staff friendly. Clean room and comfortable night sleep.

I checked in on a Sunday 5/23/21, and as there is no room service, I asked for 2 extra coffees and 2 bottles of water. The water is typically standard with Gold Membership. Given that I had stayed at this hotel 12x this year already I was surprised when the gentlemen behind the counter said "here is your coffee - you can buy the water". I stated Gold membership and was told with a smirk that different hotels do different things and this one didn't give free water.
When I got to my room I made reservations down the street at Home2 for my remaining 4 days. I also cancelled my upcoming reservation of 4 nights for an upcoming stay in 2 weeks. It good to have options and not have to deal with poor attitudes. Hope the .32 of saved water was worth it for Marriott.

If you have a moment and are willing could you please reach out to me directly at the hotel and we can discuss possible resolutions. Please know that this is not typical of the service we like to give at the Courtyard and we hope to be able to make the situation better. I look forward to hearing from you. Best, Lisa Knight

We were back and forth last minute big family, little kids, 2 room reservation and Natalie worked her magic at the front desk and got us adjoining rooms. Most of the time you get a “no can do” or “I don’t know how to do” but she came through for us big time. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I love Courtyard properties and even tho there’s no “free breakfast” I choose to stay here with my family because they’re sharp, I’ve stayed here before and even with construction it was tidy and smelled good….sometimes other locations REALLY struggle with that. Keep up the good work Layton Courtyard!

We were in a handicapped room, and we needed help with a light and an outlet next to the bed. The manager tried to fix it herself and ended up needing to call the maintenance person, who arrived from his home promptly and took care of the issue. The manager continued to follow up to ensure that we received the help we needed in a timely fashion. Friendly, courteous staff. Clean and comfortable. Very satisfied.

My husband was on a business trip while I stayed at home, unfortunately, it was during our Anniversary date (3/28). I called the front desk to see if they could help me surprise him with something. They were more than happy to arrange something in his room for me. The manager on staff put together balloons and cookies. I couldn't be more appreciative of their generosity. We are huge Marriott fans, but they really went above and beyond with this gesture. Shoutout to Lima for making this wonderful moment happen for us!

This hotel is a nice hotel. It is clean and kept up nice. The room was nice but the customer service was terrible. The front desk could not handle a simple issue, which was cancelling the 2nd night of my reservation and refunding the points. Upon checking out, no receipts was given. When I spoke with Marriott Customer Care, they told me that the hotel should have easily been able to take care of the issue that I had and that it was a simple solution. I did have a very candid customer care representative and she was not very complimentary about the poor customer service that was given. I would not stay at this hotel again.

The staff at this hotel keeps me returning. They are the more caring and helpful I've met and will go out of their way to make your stay pleasant. I especially appreciated Alexis, Gage, Natalie and Dianne. The pool is great but coolish, very clean and large for an indoor hotel pool. The pool area is old and needs help but they haven't been given the budget yet by Marriott to improve it. When the business computer was down I was able to go next door to use the one in the Towne Place (thanks to Holly there). The rooms that overlook the back of Lowe's are the quietest if you don't care about the view, and on the front look at the beautiful mountains but there's a bit of traffic noise. A general complaint of Marriott is they are going toward very soft mattresses which my spine does not appreciate, but that's not a problem specific only to this hotel. Breakfast (you pay) is very good and made to your order and preferences. Starbucks coffee!

AC broken when we arrived, pretty sure they knew we were getting a dud room when they gave it to us. Very nice maintenance guy did come fix it within an hour, which is good because the front desk manager told us very unapologetically that there was no possibility of changing rooms. It was 90 degrees outside. Room was weirdly configured, furniture shabby/dated, didn’t match (odd). Not a pleasant stay but thankfully only an overnight.
