The hotel is clean and fairly new-ish. It is located nearby a residential area, which was nice for a jog. There are quite a few restaurants located nearby that had carry-out and/or outdoor seating. Our room was quite spacious. The only downside is our room was on the convention center side and there was some sort of loud banging at night. For a newer hotel, the rooms seemed a bit noisy so we had to play white noise to drown it out. Otherwise, it was comfortable.

If you are looking for a clean, comfortable hotel with friendly staff, this is your place. We have stayed twice and very happy both times. We checked out 4 of the other hotels within walking distance and this hotel was by far the nicest. Breakfast is not included but well worth the money. If you are like me and do not like eating off of styrofaom and plastic, the Hilton Garden Inn offers good food on real plates. This was our second stay and ended up in a room next to the elevator. We could hear the elevator but not so much that we wanted to move. I know they would have moved us if we would have asked.

My husband, baby, and I stayed last night for our anniversary. The whole experience was wonderful until the last ten minutes which really soured the whole stay for me. My husband had to leave for work early this morning so I had to check out by myself with our 9 month old baby. I went swimming with him, then went to the front desk to ask if I could get some help with a dolly up to my room. He told me there was no one available to help. So I got the dolly up there by myself, loaded it with all my things, and had to balance a flower bouquet in a vase on my things because I couldn’t carry it, the baby, and push the full dolly. I successfully made it down to the lobby when the vase fell right in front of the front desk. A different hotel guest helped clean up all the glass while the guy at front desk called housekeeping and got me checked out. He didn’t lift a finger to help me in any way as I was obviously struggling. I then pushed the dolly out the door while holding my baby expecting him to at least offer to help me to the car. Nope. Nothing. I was so unimpressed with the customer service.

The stars are for the food service staff and cleanliness of the place. Just know if your arms are loaded and you obviously could use some help, you won’t be getting any help here. Customer service today would have been 0 stars.

Apparently they have issues with their satellite. Multiple families in our group had issues with their TV not working. Once informed of the issues they made no attempt to fix the issue for our entire stay. They also did not offer a discounted room rate to compensate for a room with faulty equipment and did not even apologize for the issue.

Easily the best hotel stay I’ve experienced. The competition wasn’t even close when it came to price for amenity. Everyone working was helping and kind. Beautiful room. Nice and quiet. They gave me a room right next to the parking lot so my family could just head out and explore what was offered. Fairly priced food and drinks couldn’t have been better for us.

Upon arrival, we pretty much had to flag down the receptionist even though she seen us walk in. We had interrupted her texting. Once we went to our room, we had found hair in the toilet and in the shower/Tub. The tv was not working, we called the receptionist to let her know, felt like I was talking on the phone alone, finally she said “I’ll send some” then hung up. Rude much!!
We were there for an event. The bar from the event kept sending us to main bar for better drinks. They never vocalized to anyone that once we purchased from the main bar we could t go back to event. So staff Natasha and the other bartender decided to make escort us out of our family event in the most rude manner to tell us we had to go back to bar. I stayed there for two days and I have to say it’s been the worst experience I have ever had.

I enjoyed a few days at this property while on business.
Mi used a few of their services, their bar, lobby restaurant, pool & gym as well as the adjacent Davis County Conference Center. All services were great.

The only issue I had was the room fridge, it was noice , I had to disconnect it 3 nights in a row. Did not advice front desk as it was a simply fix for me.

Hotel is near the Hill Air Force base which means you’ll hear Jets flying bye often. A few restaurants are within walking distance as well.

Overall this was a good stay.

We came with our kids to a tournament held in the conference center and enjoyed that we were able to walk back and forth throughout the day (and swim). Most of the staff was friendly, but one was cold and snippy. Be warned, the walls are thin and we heard everything around us. If you are a light sleeper, maybe bring some headphones. We would stay again for the convenience.

Last minute stay. Super clean with sanitary towelettes in the room. Modern, updated. Comfortable bed. Love the comforter. Great staff. They offer convenience items and snacks in the lobby for purchase.
Only two recommendations for the hotel:
1- move the toilet paper holder. On the back wall, really?
2- suggestion: put a reminder of check out time on the night stand, because that’s where most people with smartphones sit to set their alarms for the morning. Good time to have a simple reminder to make sure I check out on time.

You’re welcome, and thank you for a wonderful stay!

The best thing about this hotel is the location. Close to stores and restaurants. Hotel is older with dark decor. Room was clean with the exception of the tile in the entry. I don't think it had been mopped. The room had poor lighting. Breakfast buffett was $12 and only included bacon, eggs, pancakes and cereal. I am a Hilton Honors member and this is the first time I have been disappointed with Hilton Garden. I would not stay at this hotel again

Be aware that if you are not familiar with UTAH Bars and Lounges, the drinks will most likely be smaller! I a had a SOCO MANHATTAN and it was half the size of what you would get around the rest of the country!
