It's been almost a year, but I am finally writing the review I promised for Raquel and Martin. My family of 5 stayed in the tepee last August near the end of our Grand Circle adventure. We had a wonderful time during our brief stay (one night) at Firetree. As mentioned in other reviews, it is important to read all...

My husband booked the last night of our honeymoon "somewhere" and kept it a total secret. He is not into camping by any stretch of the imagination so never in my dreams did I imagine that he had booked a special night in an authentic Navajo built hogan! The only clue I had was that we had to bring our...

I booked this place to be a surprise for my wife while we were in Utah for our honeymoon exploring the national parks. I went through all the information on the website and so understood what to expect in terms of facilities and experience but the night in the Hogan was simply magical. Our hosts were so very welcoming and...

If you are visiting Monument Valley area and looking for accommodation that is a little out of the ordinary, this is your place! Raquel and Martin have created a charmingly rustic experience that is supremely comfortable. We stayed in the large hogan which was an amazing experience. The beds were all comfortable and cosy. Martin had already arranged for a...

I stayed at the Firetree for two nights and l made sure I read all information thoroughly so I knew what to expect. I brought plenty of supplies ie snacks, beer and some wine and also a cooler although I was pleasantly surprised to see a fridge in my Hogan. I LOVED the little hogan, the memory foam mattress was...

I found this interesting place through a brochure called San Juan County, Utah's Canyon Country. My sis in law n I were staying in Sedona so I decided since we were going to visit Monument Valley that we spend a night in something different. I booked a Hogan and I must say that we were extremely surprised of this place....

We recently booked a night in the teepee. Our family is always up for an adventure, but this was a little too sketchy for us. The directions stated that is would be an easy dirt road drive once the pavement ran out, but our rental car struggled at times in the thick sand. I think the pictures on the site...

We're sorry you didn't like FireTree! It is VERY important that you read our "Important Information" webpage and our emails, because the things that made you unhappy are things we told you about before you came. It has been years since anyone had any trouble with our road, so we tell people not to worry. Like we say in our...

I had to bring my friends here for this great experience and great breakfast. I will come visit here in a hurry whenever I get a chance to!! Great people and starry night skies. A great stay at their hogan. Nice conversation with British people visiting here also. And friendly kitty.

We visited for the night, having visited the spectacular Monument Valley in a monsoon thunderstorm and then paying a visit to Gouldings, where we had a good meal and visited the interesting museum. It was starting to get dark when we set out to cover the few miles to Firetree. The road was ok until we rounded the Mesa and...

Took us a little while find to find firetree in dark but once arrived warm welcome from Raquel and Martin stayed up late and met us. Four of us stayed one night in a tipee in August (Hogans were fully booked then) which was more meorable than just staying in a regular hotel/motel. Comfortable beds with electric light and restroom...
