Stayed at The View Hotel for one night on the way to Telluride,CO. Sometimes it's worth going a little out of the way to find a hidden gem. The hotel was clean, comfortable and had amazing views just as they advertise. If you are hoping to do the 17 mile drive through the valley which starts by the hotel be...

Bad luck when I was there the weather was so foggy so I cannot see the sunrise and sunset. I can imagine if the weather is good you can see beautiful sunset and sunrise right from your balcony. worth every penny.

This hotel trades purely on the fact that the view of Monument Valley from the rooms is fantastic. Unfortunately, that was the only good thing about the hotel. We ate in the restaurant in the evening where the only dish they could offer to eat for somebody with Gluten intolerance was a small bowl of stew. The following morning at...

We booked a room on the top floor and we were not disappointed with the view. The hotel itself has standard amenities and is decorated with Navajo art and images. Our room was a long walk from the lobby, but also very quiet. The front desk clerk was very welcoming and efficient. The View is not a 5 star hotel,...

We visited the Mighty 5 Utah National Parks and went out of our way to stay here. The room and the restaurant were both excellent - but the views are fantastic. We stayed on the top floor away from the lobby - took star and moonrise pictures at night and just looked out over the landscape during the day. We...

There really is no choice other than this hotel to enjoy Monument Valley - yes, because the views are second to none, and yes, it's one of the only 2 hotels near or in the actual valley. We were based far enough away to make it a 3 day trip - a day to drive up, arriving at sunset so...

We stayed at this unique hotel in the middle of nowhere for a single night in October 2016. While planning our vacation we were a bit uncertain about booking a room at this hotel because the rate was well above our budget. But we were so pleased that we did. What a view! Well worth the price! One of the...

This hotel is a must if you are travelling to Monument Valley, it is situated actually in Monument, and the views are just breathtaking. Rooms are nice and comfortable, it is a dry hotel so if you want a wine or beer you need to bring with you to drink in your room. Restaurant in the View is basic but...
