Our room was clean, was reasonably sized, and was furnished with the usual motel toiletries, TV, etc. Our wifi connection was below average but OK and oddly the room was lit only by two dim lamps - so was dark. (We understand that this motel may be undergoing a change of ownership with possible changes in rates, ammenities and furnishings)....

I have stayed here in 2014 & 2015 prior to any renovations. It desperately needed to be updated back then. (bare bones & couch was like a rock) Without renovations, I would not return. Also, the "apartment" is stocked so poorly with pots/pans to cook in the kitchen, that it is not worth paying for the apartment. I recall telling...

Thanks for your feedback, Yes the new remodeled rooms are much nicer than the standard rooms. We are now working to upgrade the standard rooms too. There are only a few left. I will make sure that our kitchen is stocked better for your next visit.

Despite the tired and shabby looking road sign, we stopped and got a room for the night. The friendly receptionist gave us a newly refurbished room on the ground floor. The room was well sized and rustic western style decor which was very nice. It was clean and equipped with fridge, microwave etc.. only lacking a coffee maker. Breakfast room...

Thank you for your kind review. We have hot coffee in the breakfast room and you are welcome to fill your cup anytime. We are now adding coffee makers to some of our rooms and we will have coffee makers available at the front desk for the other rooms if you would prefer to make coffee in your room instead...

I have stayed here three times because there are no accommodations in mt pleasant. its a very unenjoyable place to stay where the only concern is how much money the owners can make. Theyre lucky to have a monopoly in mt pleasant and theyre taking full advantage of it

I am very sorry to hear that the price of your room made it difficult for you to enjoy your stay with us. Making a profit is the goal of most business owners; However, our little Lodge has never been a big money maker. Many people are unaware that it is often difficult for small motels in rural areas to...

Lodge is located on the main highway through this small rural community. Also on the property is an El Mexicano restaurant, which serves very good food three meals a day. We love the new pine log furnishings manufactured in a neighboring county. Even the light fixtures and bedspread carried the theme throughout the room, which was large and clean. The...

We are so pleased to hear that you like our new rooms. We have made a substantial investment upgrading 50% of our rooms to this new "Cabin" style. We hope that all of our guests enjoy staying in our newly remodeled rooms. So far the response has been very positive. We hope to see you again soon.

Our room was on the second floor accessed by stairs and a balcony. The stairs and balcony floor were very dirty. The room itself was spacious and clean. The safety chain lock on the door was missing. The bed and pillows were clean and comfortable. There was no in-room coffee service but the lobby was open shortly after 6 am...

Thanks for your review Wanda T. I was pleased to hear that your room was clean and comfortable. I'm sorry to hear that the balcony and stairs were dirty. I can assure you that our staff will make an extra effort (in the future) to make sure that this does not occur again. We are upgrading our rooms with new...

Pet friendly, economical, modern and spotlessly clean. Beds are excellent and breakfast is good. We only stayed one night as on our way home but was very restful. Referred us to a nearby Italian restaurant that was excellent too. Great value and highly recommend.

Horseshoe was where I was placed while serving as a bridging surgeon for the local hospital, in 2-week bursts over a 4 month period in 2014. Virginia and her staff not only did a good job but felt like family to me. They were very friendly and accommodating and responded to not only my every need but to several of...

Hotel was clean but was a little concerned about the lock on the door... they really need to upgrade the locks and add deadbolts to the doors. Was nice having a refrigerator in the room and a microwave.
