We stayed here over the weekend for 3 nights. Location was ideal especially since it's right near a Costco and a bunch of restaurants and stores. The mall is about 5 min away. Pros - Our room was spacious with a small kitchen including a fridge, dishwasher, sink, stove, and microwave. - Staff are friendly and hospitable - Free parking with ample space - Complimentary breakfast from 6:30 am-9 am daily Cons - No full service housekeeping. When we checked in on Thursday, the lady at the front desk asked if we wanted daily cleaning since we were staying for 3 days. When I requested it, we were surprised the next day when we came back from our outing to our room being untouched with trash and used towels. When my husband asked the front desk lady why they didn't clean our room, she explained to us that it's only to collect towels and trash. It would have been nice if they explained that to us when we checked in. - The trash can in the kitchen was small and quickly piled up in the kitchen. It would definitely help out a lot if they had a larger trash can to prevent an overflow of garbage. - The complementary breakfast was just ok and very basic. They had eggs and a different type of meat like sausage or bacon during the 3 days we were staying here. They offered the same types of plain bagels, plain English muffins, cereal, oatmeal, and fruit. It would be nice if they could change it up. - Parking lot was somewhat well-lit if you find a spot near the main entrance. There were some areas a few feet away where the parking lot was dark and a bit shady. Overall, we had a good stay that's why I'm giving this hotel four stars. We'll be sure to stay here again the next time we're in town.

The woman working the front desk when I checked in at night was extremely friendly. This is a newer property that was nearly spotless and the room was spacious and well appointed. I would stay here again with out hesitation!

The room is very nice and person at front desk was very helpful. Disappointed that when I went down for breakfast (during their hours) they had already put away everything. Now we have to change our schedule and go out.

Nearly new hotel. Great modern style in the rooms. Staff were nice. AMAZING mountain views from the east side of the property. They took good care of me as a Marriott Bonvoy member. Room has all you need including a full kitchen. Looking forward to staying again.

The one bedroom set up is good in the corner configuration. We loved our mountain view. And since it's a pretty new hotel all appliances and furniture are nice. Smart TVs, lots of plugs for charging, etc. I did wish there was a table to sit at, there was some strange empty space that could have had a table and two chairs. There are some reviews on service which I would agree with. We were there for a week and kept to ourselves but there seemed to be a lot of inexperienced front desk staff. Lots of things nearby and easy drive to hiking.

I'm travel quite a bit on business and use Marriott hotels to the extent possible. I have had continously maintained Gold or Platinum Elite status for the past 5 years. The staff at this Marriott is the most unfriendly and unhelpful I have encountered so far during my numerous Marriott stays. I was charged an extra night for an early arrival on a week long stay, and they insisted that per policy late checkout couldn't be discussed until the morning of departure. The guests at this hotel are treated like an inconvenience and a burden, and the issue wasn't a result of hotel capacity as my company booked several of the suites and studio suites with adjoining rooms, many of which were clearly empty. I will now be visiting Salt Lake often, and will enjoy the opp to stay elsewhere.

This hotel is quite adequate for any trip to the Salt Lake area. 20 minutes from downtown. Breakfast includes waffle makers, quiche, fruit, oatmeal and breads. Only thing better would be to have 24 hr coffee available. Snacks are available for purchase at the front desk. Rooms are good size and have most everything you need. See photos. Pool is a good size and kept at a good temperature. Hot tub is quite big and a little hot but felt good! Staff was very nice and accommodating. Would recommend.

This is an unsafe place to stay. The staff are the contributing factor in this toxic and dangerous environment . The place employs abhorrent and judgmental evening staff. During our stay, maintenance personnel were masquerading as security using intimidation tactics on the guests. The general manager is of no assistance in addressing these concerns. It was evident by his response that he just wants the guests to go away and keep their mouths shut. If you value your safety and well-being please stay elsewhere.

We stayed one night on a road trip while dropping someone off at SLC airport. We had been camping for 3 nights and this couldn’t have been a better stop. There was laundry (which was much needed), a great pool (though the hot tub was out of service), and the most comfortable bed! Breakfast and coffee were outstanding. My only complaint would be the pull out sofa beds were very odd. The whole thing unfolded in half…

As a TripAdvisor level 37 "Hotel Expert," this is my review. Compared to hundreds of hotels that we have stayed in in Europe and the USA this is one of the nicest! It has stunning views of the mountains on the west side. Get a top floor! The hotel is brand new, very clean, has a kitchenette stocked with everything that you would need, very fast WIFI. Hotel personnel are very friendly. Breakfast consisted of a hot sandwich, and several other items that you order at the front desk and in 3 minutes you have you meal in a bag. There were two issues that I encountered that I read about before my stay in other reviews. This is the lights coming on at night’ issue. In the room there is a motion sensor on the side of the door with another switch below it. When you go to bed, turn off the lower switch, not the motion switch with the blinking light above it. The first night we only turned off the room lights on the top motion switch. Sure enough like the other reviewer said, when my wife turned over in bed all the lights in the room came on! It turns out that the motion light off switch gets reset in about an hour, so after that time the motion light is reactivated waiting for you to move. It has been reported that even if you turn off the main light switch that the closet light will still come on when you move which is also undesirable. We had facilities come up and disable the closet light. While he was there, we also had him turn off the circuit breaker for the microwave display, which as previously reported, is very bright, to the point of being able to read a book at night with the brightness. So, the bottom line is talk to the desk when you arrive to disable this ''energy saving feature'' or better, bring a roll of black electrical tape with you and cover the motion light sensor and the display of the microwave. We loved the hotel and will return, but with our black electrical tape this time.
