The only good thing about this place were the beds. The shower valve was broken and scalding hot water could barely be controlled. We were fortunate we weren’t injured. Mold and broken tiles surrounded the bathtub. The AC unit was barely mounted to the wall. The “free” breakfast? Ha! Crappy coffee? Maybe a container of yogurt? Worse? When we reported all this to hotel staff? Her response was blasé at best: “Oh, yeah. We’re trying to get that fixed.” This, too, can be your travel experience for “only” $120 a night. Never again a Days Inn or Wyndham for me.
We always stay at Wyndham properties and so we wound up at Days Inn. Upon arrival we were informed that they were pretty busy so they upgraded us to a suite. Very nice 2 rooms, AC blew quiet and cold even tho it was in the "living room" not the bed room. Breakfast was sparse in the time of covid. Cereal, muffins etc, All carbs. Wish they told you ahead of time that the ice and vending machines were out. Looks like it's been awhile. We spent 2 nites here as we explored the Bryce Canyon area, Good choice as there were food stores and restaurants very close by. Helpful young staff, Good value and convenient to Bryce Canyon.
Comfortable and spacious room. Beds and pillows worked for us. Would be much better if something more were offered for breakfast, but at least the staff recommended Kenny Ray's, which was awesome. Good neighborhood for walking dogs.
My room was smaller than a dorm room. I couldn't wait to get out of there. I booked a king-bed room and was given a teeny-tiny room instead. The rate was incorrect at a higher rate (really?!?). There was no desk / place to sit and eat, no place for luggage. When I showered, the steam triggered the fire alarm. The hotel is in the middle of town, but there's nothing in the immediate vicinity, so you have to drive everywhere. There's some road noise, but it wasn't bad at night (seems like reduced traffic). They serve a small continental breakfast with pre-packaged pastries and cereal.
Staff was nice. Motel needs to be torn down and remodeled. Breakfast was very, very, very small, all carbs, nothing hot, and left us wanting for food. Was kind of hard to bring back to the room, and eat in the room. Wasn't very clean on the outside.
