Waldorf Astoria Park City garners mixed reviews, with many guests appreciating the spacious and stylish rooms, although some point out cleanliness and maintenance issues. The service is often lauded for its attentiveness, with staff members going the extra mile, although there are occasional lapses.
The amenities, including the spa and ski valet, receive high marks, but some guests feel improvements could be made. While the hotel's cleanliness and vibrant atmosphere are praised, the value proposition is questioned by travelers who find the services overpriced.

Hotel's Favourite
We had a wonderful stay, and I just wanted to thank Breanna W. again for helping us with our room accommodations. We had a great experience…everything from the unique touches like the ski valet, to s’mores, hot cocoa aprés ski drinks, to bath robes in the room. We utilized both the gondola across the street to access the slopes, as well as the free shuttle service to ski another part of the mountain,l and to go into town in the evening. The complimentary shoe shine was also a welcome treat. We also enjoyed the two large hot tubs as well, much needed after long ski days. Only suggestion would be to offer complimentary parking for Hilton Honors elite members. We have stayed at this hotel twice now and would love to come back again.

I had the pleasure to stay at the hotel for a week during the New Year break and despite the covid restrictions, the hotel felt pretty much as a normal experience.
Breakfast is served a la carte in the restaurant and there were never issues with getting a table in a timely fashion. The kitchen fulfilled out requests for changes or additions with ease. The ski valet services was truly outstanding. They take out the skis and place them by the gondola every day, bring you your warm boots and will even help with removing them! The hot tubs were always available and people were considerate in not spreading out to allow a few groups to sit and still distance. The pool is heated enough for children and athletes. S'mores kits are available at the receptions at ANY time and one can make them at one of the many fire pits in the hotel grounds. We took the shuttle several nights to get back and from the hotel with no issues, except one night when there were a series of car accidents between the Canyons and Park City and we could not even find an Uber ride for over an hour!
The only issue was that we arrived late at night and our first suite was oddly shaped and not as nice big as expected. The reception staff noted my reply on the booking service and promptly moved us to a much bigger 1 bedroom suite with two bathrooms the next day. The suite was very nicely furnished and decorated, it was quiet with a very comfortable bed. ALL the staff was always available and very solicitous about our needs.
Over all this was a wonderful stay and we plan to be back soon.

We stayed here for our anniversary on 7/24/20. The hotel and it's staff exceeded our expectations.
We were in room 4158, which is a suite, with a full kitchen, 2 fireplaces, 2 full baths and a balcony. The living room and kitchen area are huge and the bedroom is good sized.
It is a really nice suite.
The hotel surprised us by sending us a complimentary bottle of champagne and some chocolate covered strawberries for our anniversary, it was a great touch
The staff was the most helpful, and best trained staff we have ever encountered at a hotel. Every interaction was just great.
We used valet parking and it went very smoothly, when ever we needed our car it was waiting out front.
The breakfast was held outdoors in the pool area so social distancing was easy to do. The food was very good and the waitstaff were great.
We look forward to staying here again.
Covid 19
All of the staff members wore masks and per the county all guest were to wear masks when they are in a public area. With one exception, all of the guests wore masks.
Housekeeping is taking extra care cleaning the rooms and they seal it after they are done, when you go into the room you break the seal which lets you know your the first one in after house keeping. There are restrictions on the spa area because of covid. Overall, this was the most prepared covid response we had seen .

We came to the Waldorf for a short ski Vacation in early March. We had not skied for 5 years and decided to splurge on a short trip. The ski valet service is excellent. You are just below the canyons lodge and it is very easy and accessable to get up there. You keep your boots in a comfortable boot room and they are brought to you off the boot heater each morning. Your skiis are waiting for you at the base of the lift or will be picked up if you want to go to another area. The Hotel makes it very easy to get to Deer Valley and Park City. Door to door service.
I found the service of the hotel to be average. The staff is very friendly. However, We had to walk a country mile to get to and from our room and the ice machine was 2 floors down and just as long of a walk. The concierge was average. I called prior to our arrrival and asked for help with dining reservations I never heard back from the concierge.I only received texts from the restaurants the day of the reservation for 2 of the 3 nights. I had to contact concierge back to find out about our last night which the restaurant could not take us. More communication would have been nice.
Our room was small for $850/night and I felt it was a Pricey average stay.

What an amazing holiday weekend getaway with my wife and infant son. In the midst of covid we have not really had the opportunity to travel much so this trip was something we absolutely needed. Having Hilton Diamond status is always a benefit when booking any trip so when we decided on Park City for our thanksgiving getaway it was going to be a Hilton property for sure. The Waldorf in Park City has something for everyone whether you want to ski, relax, walk the trails or enjoy some great food. The staff takes safety and their cleaning protocols very seriously so you do have to wear a mask on property when not in your room. The service is top notch whether it was valet, the front desk, spa services, room service or at the restaurant Powder (see my review for powder as well). The room we booked was spectacular though I might add they should have told us about the valet garage being so loud which was right below us. A one bedroom king suite has two bathrooms, a full Viking kitchen, oven/stove, washer/dryer, private balcony and two fireplaces. Our son loved exploring, running down the hallways, looking at all the fire pits they have on property and of course rolling around in the snow. If you are looking for a mountain getaway look no further than the Waldorf in Park City. Happy travels!

We came with as a huge group December 12-16 to celebrate a birthday and anniversary. Overall the facilities were fairly nice and it is close to ski lifts; however, I had a terrible experience with housekeeping and after reporting the incident, received zero follow-up. One day, housekeeping came so late in the day, the man asked to clean the room while I was in the room. I was working on my laptop and one a call while he was cleaning. I watched him spray used glassware with the same cleaning solution that he used to clean the rest of the room, wipe them down, and then set them down as if they were sanitized, clean glassware. I was disgusted. I reported the incident when I checked out to Sidney, the night auditor who was running the overnight reports. She took down all of my information and said she would make sure that someone followed up with me. It's now been close to a month and no response. There is no email listed on your website. This is the only way I can imagine getting a response. Hopefully someone will respond.

We spent a week in July in a 3 bedroom suite (6 of us). The rooms were spacious and the couple of glitches we had were quickly taken care of (4 plates for 6 people, a toilet which wouldn't stop running). I fact, service was the most outstanding thing about the Waldorf. Ice water was brought to you whenever you appeared at the pool, the valets were always friendly and quickly retrieved your car, housekeeping was thorough, and the concierge was exceptionally helpful.
I liked the location not being in Old Town and since the hotel provided a shuttle running every 1/2 hour, we could go into Old Town without worrying about parking. The lack of a "normal" restaurant at the hotel would be one of my major complaints. Powder is more of a "special" restaurant not a breakfast or lunch destination (in my opinion). During the summer, Canyons Village didn't have a lot of choices either. Also, there was no music or entertainment available (1 or 2 nights a week would have been nice).
It was easy to get to the Olympic Village (5 min. drive) and we found a couple of very good restaurants (Maxwell's and Taste of Thai) in the Kimball Junction area which was another short drive.
It's hard to evaluate a hotel after a year of Covid and shutdowns, but the staff had a great attitude and really seemed to be trying.

My friend and I went to Park City to enjoy the weather and celebrate my birthday. We sure made the right decision to stay at the Waldorf! I’m a Diamond and was hoping for an upgrade to a suite. Tamara at the front desk spent time trying to get us a great suite. She was so friendly and helpful and gave us a good first impression of what a great resort we booked for a week. We were then amazed when we walked into the beautiful, very large 2 bedroom 2 bath suite. The kitchen had Viking appliances and beautiful granite. There was a balcony for sipping the champagne they sent for my birthday! And cookies! This was the best suite I’ve ever stayed in. There’s even a large dining table . Everyone wore masks for Covid and the place had hand sanitizer and lots of masks for guests. Everyone working there was friendly and happy to help with requests. I don’t use espresso machines so no problem getting a coffee maker sent to my room. There is construction on one side ,so the view wasn’t good ,but we were too happy about the suite to care! Breakfast is pleasant outside if you wear a sweater. The food is good but pricey like most of Park City. Hopefully you’ll get Joan as your waitress. She’s truly a gem. She will remember your name and special things you want each morning. She gave a lot of helpful tips on where to go and how to dress for it. They need to hold on to her! The shuttle wasn’t running because of covid but a nice 6 minute walk to bus #10 took us to town every day. It was free every half hour and only a few people on it each time wearing masks. So a great location 15 minutes away from the city. Definitely coming back to this resort hotel again and again!

Compared to other resorts at this luxury level, this one is quite disappointing. My review is just as a hotel. We decided to stay here without doing a lot of research as traveling was a quick decision. We “assumed” given the name we would actually be in Park City and there was a shuttle to Main Street per website. CoVID stopped the shuttle service so our option was to drive or take an Uber/Lyft. More $. The room barely held our suitcases - I cannot imagine taking ski gear. They still charged a resort fee although, other than valet parking, which they claim on website was included normally- we got nothing for that fee under CoVID restrictions. We also paid for bed and breakfast package and again because of CoVID we received a $25/person credit toward breakfast each day. We opted for room service breakfast as sitting on display in the lobby was undesirable and with gratuity breakfast was $100 for the two of us each day (we ordered coffee, one OJ and two breakfast sandwiches each day). It was good, but $100 for breakfast?? Would recommend folks stay in Park City.

Our stay at the Waldorf Astoria Park City was just magical! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted warmly by the valet staff who helped us with getting our bags unloaded and settled in our room. We had a beautiful, two bedroom suite that felt like a second home.
We had decided to come out to Park City since our girls had gone to virtual learning for their school and we could not have picked a better location. Our girls each had ample room with the large suite to do their daily zoom calls and school work. Being from the east coast time zone, they finished school every day at noon and that gave us time to get 3-4 hours of skiing in the afternoon. Since you are right on the slopes at the Waldorf, this allowed us to maximize our time on the mountain. Also, while the mountain is not fully open yet, we found the snow to be excellent for skiing and enjoyed the smaller crowds on the mountain. You do have to make reservations to ski, but worked very well as long as you plan ahead.
In regards to COVID, we felt extremely safe throughout our trip both around the hotel and on the mountain skiing. All of the staff wear masks and there is proper social distancing practices throughout the property. In regards to skiing, it was great to get outdoors to get some fresh air and the mountain staff did a great job of keeping people distanced on the mountain.

Hi Curiosity739380,
We do have several supermarkets near the hotel. If you are traveling off Rt 80, there is a Smiths located at 1725 Uinta Way just off the main road. From Smiths, we are 2.3 miles down the road. In the opposite direction, there is a store called Fresh Market Park City. They are located at 1760 Park Ave and are about 3.1 miles down the road.
Please let me know if you have any additional questions.

Waldorf Astoria Park City does have a shuttle that runs on a loop from the hotel to Main Street.
It would be a great chance especially since they offer shuttle service to other ski resorts if The Canyons is not to your liking
