Detailed Reviews
This is the best ski in and ski out property in Park City. It’s a Marriott property and you can use points. Great service and unmatched ski slopes. This was our third time to visit. Food is expensive but that was expected. Included in the room price is free coffee in the morning and s’mores at night on the outdoor fireplace. We bought snacks for the kids at a local grocery and there is also extensive delivery restaurants. Our fav was Chinese and pizza. Hard to go wrong.

My husband and I came here on our honeymoon during COVID and were pleasantly surprised with all of the precautions they had put in place. Given I am immunocompromised we are overly careful, this is our first time out in 7 months. We felt extremely safe here with distanced outdoor seating, masks required on property, and watching how extensively the staff cleaned/disinfected.
On top of that, the customer service here was incredible! Savina went above and beyond making this feel special for our honeymoon and we loved it so much we decided to make this our anniversary ritual from now on! Meaghan was another fantastic staff member working the front desk and helped with a mishap when an earring got stuck in my ear! She remembered the next day and checked in with my husband to ensure I was ok. Billy was a great shuttle driver and we never waited for more than 10 minutes and always enjoyed a good conversation with him. Sonia was super friendly dropping off our French pressed coffee every morning and double checking we were comfortable with her pressing it before touching anything on the tray. Even the blonde running the s’mores station was attentive with tips and we enjoyed chatting with her. I have many examples of this but these were the staff that stuck out during our stay! We cannot thank you enough for an incredible experience we’ll remember for a lifetime!

This was our first time at the St. Regis Deer Valley; we usually stay at the Waldorf Astoria at nearby Park City Mountain, but wanted to try the skier only Deer Valley.
The resort is fantastic. Our room had double queens and a small balcony. The bathroom was quite large with a big shower for a standard room.
The staff is the true highlight of the hotel. The ski valet crew were quick to offer assistance as soon as you enter the equipment area.
The shuttle service is also top-notch. Main Street is less than a 10 minute drive and I think they had 4 or more shuttles going at all times. We rarely had to wait, and half the time we were the only family onboard.
The ski runs you can access directly from the hotel are mostly intermediate (blues), but that’s fine with us. If you prefer greens, you would take the shuttle down to the main Deer Valley gate.
I would certainly recommend the St Regis for a ski vacation.

TravelingAdam713, We are very thankful you took the time to share your recent experience. We agree, our private Ski in/out location, mixed with our proximity to Main Street is the perfect combination for a Ski trip. Although our resort is surrounded by mostly intermediate/blue runs, the Deer Hollow to Little Stick run makes for an easy/green ski transition to the Snow Park base. We hope to continue welcoming you back for future trips to the Park City area! Zachary S, Director of Rooms

We just got back after a whole 7 days in the resort. It is a beautiful property, well-kept and maintained. However, they are struggling with staff and service, which is not uncommon given the current COVID situation. I can only imagine how much worst this could have been if we had stayed for President’s weekend. We left that Friday.
As we checked in, we struggle with the front desk as they said no breakfast was included, we had to escalate because we had confirmed with them prior to our arrival. After back and forth they fixed it. We had a Luxury One Bedroom Suite, we did not request an accessible room but they gave us an accessible room. Not a fit for us, front desk said the only difference was the shower, but was not true, no storage, everything low, after a few calls with manager, we were moved to a regular Luxury Suite.
Prior to our arrival they asked us for a special request sheet to be filled out. None of the requested were fulfilled, such as doing turn down when we were out to dinner. We had provided time for dinner. Of the 6 nights, we only had turn down service once when we were out and the rest they came after we were back from dinner past 8/9pm, and ended up handing us towels.
The day after we arrived, we came from skiing at 2pm and the room wasn’t done, I called Butler Services 3 times and they had not recollection each time that I had called. Finally someone showed up after we called the manager, at 3:30pm. This happened again on the last day
Had to call twice to get some bath salts in the room- same deal, they forget or do not pass messages to housekeeping
Toiletries such as cotton wasn’t replenished unless I asked.
If you have time to spare, take the shuttle! Several stops and long waits.
Upon our departure we called Bell Boy twice to get our bags, they didn’t showed up so we brought them downstairs on our own.
Lift Lines on Deer Valley on Saturday and Sunday were endless! We’ll stand 20-30 mins in each lift. The rest of the week, heaven, no lines
In all, not sure if I want to come back here, I'll say no.
I’m giving it 2 stars because the property is beautiful but lack of the other 3 in service.
Good/Positive things:
You cannot beat location
Ski Valet was very good
Spa was really nice and relaxing.
Food at the Bar and RIME was really good
Concierge was very helpful on getting us reservations for Lunch in the mountain.
Private transportation arrangement from airport
The pool and the hot tub was really nice, they have towels nearby

After getting vaccinated, we felt comfortable venturing out. And, since we didn't travel during February ski week, we elected to come to Park City to allow our kids to get some skiing in before the season ended. We decided to return to St. Regis since it offers the most convenient location to the lifts and ski school (via funicular), and I'm an elite member. But, frankly, this property is in need of a refresh or a complete renovation. Our family suite (Room 310) provided ample space and amenities, but the lighting was poor, and the furniture seemed pulled from an old Marriott. One would think that they would make it up in service level, but to our dismay, it was woefully inconsistent. For example, upon check-in, the butler asks at what time you would like coffee delivered each morning, yet on Day 2, they completely forgot to bring it. The valet guys seemed slow to bring up our car, and our breakfast order at RIME wasn't fulfilled properly. Conversely, their smores and hot chocolate are great touches, and they keep the pool and hot tub well heated. We did frequent both the Montage and Waldorf, and both seem to be more polished. We also tried the Remede Spa which has some nice amenities. And, while the massage was heavenly, it was woefully over priced. All in all, St. Regis' benefit is its location. But, I don't think its worth the 'luxury' price.

Great location, too bad the service did not expectations except for the Ski Valet area which was excellent. How dare they charge $50 a day for a microwave! I requested a microwave twice and never received one but i was billed for 4 days or $200 and they never told me there was going to be a charge. Good thing I noticed this on my bill and they quickly removed the charge. If you need a microwave go to Walmart and buy one and then leave it for the maid as a tip. Hot Tub did not work one day and do you think anyone would apologize or offer another option? Nope they sure didn't and we had to ask if we could use the spa hot tub. Another example of poor service.

Our family of four (two kids ages 5 and 2) had a fantastic experience at the st regis deer valley. They really think about the experience for children and the family as a whole. Things like apres ski hot chocolate, evening s’mores, stuffed animals and color books for the kids at check in made our experience truly special. When ordering room service, they made sure to offer great off menu options for the little ones as well. I think the thing that made the kids most excited was frette bath robes and slippers for the pool in their size! And then the seamless experience with renting ski equipment and picking up ski passes from the deer valley desk made everything easy and luxurious feeling. We’ll definitely be back next year

The property is in a beautiful location, near Park City and next to ski slopes. We were upgraded to a roomy, comfortable suite with a full kitchen, two fireplaces, and a terrific view of the slopes. The bed and bedding were great, towels and amenities excellent. Lighting was very good, but there weren’t enough outlets. Food at the hotel in the two restaurants, Rime and the Brasserie, was very good. Breakfasts were great. The hotel is split into two buildings. There is not enough signage or information given at check in to make it easy to navigate. We had also been told the only access to the property was via their funicular. It was a time consuming chore to utilize the funicular. Later in our stay, when we asked for our car to be brought around so we could go to dinner, we were met at the base of the funicular by a startled valet who told us our car was up at the main entrance to the hotel. It turns out that the hotel is, in fact, very reachable other than by the funicular, and one is able to drive right up to the lobby. We also felt as though the concierge had little interest in assisting us in finding a suitable hiking spot, directing us to either just go on a walk to Park City or drive all the way to trails around Salt Lake City. We later learned there are excellent public trails a mere 15-minute drive away in Park City. That said, all other hotel personnel were very friendly and helpful, and desirous of ensuring we had a good stay. In particular, I note a manager named Matthew, and waiters Jesus, Jameson, and Alyson. We had a long talk with Matthew about the misses we had experienced at the hotel, noted above and also missed turndown and incomplete maid service, and he was appropriately concerned, listened well and empathetically, and resolved our concerns immediately and generously. Lots of the issues were due to the hotel coming out of the off season, and I feel they will be addressed. So, I would recommend the hotel.

Extremely disappointing experience, I feel like I have been robbed after spending a small fortune this weekend for subpar food and subpar service. It's a horrible feeling. For not allowing full capacity at the pool or the restaurant, I can't believe how slow the service was. Our dinner at Rime was almost 3 hours. Terrible appetizers (hamachi was a joke), entrees were okay, but nothing special for the price. The extremely small kids menu was gross and there were no other options for food in the resort. Not even a gift shop to get a drink and a snack! It was impossible to figure out food for my daughter -- couldn't even order steamed veggies for her at Rime as they were "sold out." The fruit was standard pre-cut Sysco melon that was dried out and had no flavor but cost an arm and a leg. I felt so guilty about how poorly my daughter ate while staying here. Also, trying to reach anyone in the hotel was extremely difficult. When I called any of the options on the phone they either rang off the hook or went to a "full mailbox." There is NO excuse for this kind of service at this kind of hotel with the amount of money that is being spent. Covid is not an excuse and if you can't accommodate your guests, don't open! Simple as that. It was nothing but a hassle and a money pit instead of the relaxing weekend we had hoped for. Sorry to be so harsh, but I'm terribly upset about the situation.

The property was immaculate and truly provided the opportunity to relax and enjoy the mountain. Further, the staff at the St. Regis truly goes above and beyond. From the housekeeping staff to the hot chocolate workers, to the ski valet, all members of the staff go above and beyond. Specifically, I would like to highlight my experience with Savina, the front desk manager. Savina is the gold standard for providing a one of a kind, white glove experience for the guests. Even prior to my arrival to the property, I called to confirm my reservation and she provided quick answers and took the time to confirm my room upgrade. Upon arrival and throughout my stay Savina went above and beyond to ensure my girlfriend and I were having a first class experience. Her welcoming through check in to ensuring we were enjoying our stay throughout the time at the St Regis was above and beyond. Savina’s passion for customer service shows through her work and truly elevated our experience.
Be sure to check out the spa. It is true serenity after a few days on the slopes. The massages are great! Also, the ski valet team are quick and helpful. The St. Regis truly is the gold standard.

Park city is not a party town. Some times on Saturday on Main Street they have DJs at the only club. Everything is pretty much dead by 10 pm
Hi
The ski shop or conceirge can better answer the ski question- givevthem a call; they are happy to answer those type of inquiries.
There are nearby grocery stores, a shuttle to get to them, and an onsite small store if I recall. I would recommend renting a car if you can because you don’t want to miss everything the area has to offer.
I have contacted the property, emailed Marriott, spoke to SPG division last week, was told someone from regional management would contact me,and still no response from Marriott.. look at my review above, and the GM’s response to me..
