Hyatt Centric Park City is celebrated for its serene and contemporary ambiance, with numerous guests lauding the inviting fireplaces and scenic balconies. The hotel's cleanliness and well-curated amenities, such as ski-in/ski-out access and a sumptuous breakfast spread, consistently receive high marks. Despite some criticism regarding bed comfort and pricing, the dedicated service staff and hotel's prime location near ski slopes are frequently praised. However, opinions are mixed on the value, with several guests considering the hotel to be on the pricey side.

The chef is very knowledgeable about his craft! Our breakfast was excellent. Eggs cooked properly! They were not oily, were cooked medium over a lower heat so as not to brown the eggs, and arrived at the table hot! Along with a generous serving of Chicken sausages. The pancakes were hot, big, contained fresh fruit, and delicious!? Great coffee and a nice view of the Sunrise Lift and skiers! I love this place for a leisurely breakfast!

Upon arrival to this property we were amazed with its beauty. We walked into the lobby and was immediately greeted with friendly welcoming. Our checkin process was smooth quick. I explained to the agent that we were there to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary and she immediately tried to find a complimentary room upgrade for us. She felt bad that there wasn’t a room available at that time but could move us the next day. She informed us she would return to work at 7am the next day & assured us the room upgrade. We went to our room and it was nice and clean. Though we were happy with it, we were looking forward to the upgrade. The next morning the young lady touched basis with to lead us know the housekeeping manager would be checking the room then she could have a bellman assist us with the move. Everything went smooth and the new room was such a surprise. This suite was huge, gorgeous, amazing in every way. It was so comfortable far beyond what we expected. My husband and I were in awe to say the least. We were so thankful and felt so Blessed. We had to go back to the front desk to thank her and let her know just how appreciative we were for her kind gesture. We woke up every morning wowed with our room and view. It was like a beautiful upscale apartment. We had other family and friends that traveled with us in celebration that hung out in our room during down times. Everyone loved it! It’s really lovely to feel welcomed by every staff we came in contact with every day! We also rented a meeting room for 1 night of our stay and Doris made that experience flawless! She was absolutely amazing from the beginning of planning throughout the setup until the end of the event. Her communication the entire time was on point. Her response time was immediate and she gave me her cell # to contact her also. Everything about this resort was absolutely amazing and helped my husband create some fabulous lifetime memories. The location is great and the views are out of this world! We will most definitely be staying here again in the near future! We also recommend staying here if you want a great experience while visiting Park City! We have been telling other friends & family about Hyatt Centric Park City!

We stayed at the Hyatt Centric Park City for just one night and were absolutely blown away. The lobby is modern, truly stunning, and the location is literally just a few steps from the lift with changing areas and the ski shop leading right out to the slopes. Although the lift wasn't spinning while we were there, it was a short (less than 5 min) stroll to the Red Pine Gondola which takes you right to the action in the Canyons.

Check-in was a breeze. As a Globalist, we were upgraded to a 1-br suite on the top floor with high ceilings, a full gourmet kitchen and 2 fireplaces. The fireplace in the living room was not working but the fireplace in the bedroom made for a cozy night. Between our pups and an additional guest, we were extremely happy with the room. There were large TVs, a comfortable dining area for family to gather and plenty of seating. The bathroom was a bit wonky. Although large and beautifully appointed with a tub and shower, there wasn't a single place to hang a towel other than the back of the bathroom door opposite the tub and shower. Very strange as there was a whole blank wall between the two. Breakfast was also complimentary for us. The food was good, though I'm not sure I would have paid for the breakfast buffet.

The biggest issue we encountered was mechanical problems with the elevators. Only one elevator was working when we arrived, and by the next morning neither of the two elevators were working. While we enjoy ski mountaineering, I doubt anyone would be pleased to have to walk up and down six stories in ski boots. Hotel staff were super apologetic and beyond kind in helping us carry our bags down the stairs to assist with check-out. We were grateful for their help, but definitely not ideal. So a great stay overall, but there were some issues worth pointing out.

We have now stayed at the Hyatt Centric for 5 week long ski vacations with friends and family. The proximity to the mountain, amenities, room design, and especially the staff are what make us return every year. This year I received a pre-trip email from Brad Rohaty Director of Operations. I had a number of requests based on our previous stays and he made sure that each was taken care of prior to our arrival. As a returning guest and Hyatt Discoverist member he also threw in daily breakfast which was a surprise and much appreciated. He checked in with us during our stay to see if there was anything else he could do and allowed us a late check out on our day of departure. Upon arrival we were greeted at the valet stand by Roger and Matteo who perform multiple functions, are always willing to help, and always with a smile. The same goes for the front desk people who are exceptional. Geovonie, Diana, Jaime, Jeff, and Ashley who all work at the front desk are always helpful and once again always with a smile. The cleaning staff exhibited great professionalism and nice little touches on a daily basis caring for the one bedroom large residence that we booked along with the other rooms for our other guests. They are very accommodating in terms of time requests. The ride service every hour into Park City is quite useful. I would single out Dylan as one of the most exceptional people who helped us during our stay. I’m sorry to be repetitive but he had to be the happiest person I’ve ever met and could not do enough to make our stay perfect. The other person I would single out as extra special is Ary who seemed to be doing everything from fixing appliances in the rooms/apartments to seating in guests and serving in the restaurant. The one drawback this visit unlike previous years was the lift next to the hotel and the trail making the resort ski on ski off was not functioning. This is apparently under the control of Vail resorts not the hotel but it eliminated one of the key features of the resort in ski season. However the hotel compensated by having a shuttle available to the main gondola lift only two minutes away. I would recommend this hotel to anyone as family friendly, extremely pet friendly, and a terrific place to get away with friends. And of course The Canyons and Park City offer outstanding ski trail's. We will be back next year! Thx to all at the Hyatt Centric. Mark S.

My family stayed at the hotel over the Christmas holidays and thought the room was very clean and modern. The hotel itself had many amenities, including a nice gym and ski rentals. My husband and son rented through the hotel's in-house ski rental service which was very convenient. The hotel restaurant was excellent, with amazing food choices and great service. The small snack bar was also nice to visit, with great coffee and smaller food items for on the go. Unfortunately, there was not enough snow on the mountain to open the ski-in ski-out lift, so we took the complimentary shuttle to the main entrance when we didn't drive ourselves down to the main Park City lodge. This location is not located directly in Park City. If you are not familiar with Park City, then be aware this is a different location, with its own main area and separate runs. If you want to ski in the main part of Park City, you need to get parking early, or they run out and you're stuck at the high school, catching a shuttle up to the main lodge area.

Thank you for taking the time to complete your review, we do appreciate the feedback. With your feedback about the hotel and the team it sounds like you had a good stay with us. There are indeed two base areas serving Park City's mountain. You can get from one base area to the other with a couple chairlift rides, but if you have a preference that's understandable. Thanks for choosing Hyatt, and we hope to see you next time you are in Park City.

The condo type set up with four rooms were very comfortable and quiet even though one couple had two small children and our room was right beside them we didn't get disturbed. The kitchen and living room were large enough to easily accommodate all of us. The front desk was very accommodating when ever called upon. The restaurant was very nice. They could use a better snack social area in the evening. You can ski right up to the room which is very nice.

Gorgeous hotel, most helpful ski valet guys and front office staff, very convenient location, handy free shuttle to take you everywhere -- just text them your request and they answer immediately! Rooms were so spacious and the fireplace and comfy robes were all we needed after a long fun day of skiing. It's a great place for families with beginner skiers. Our two boys, ages 12 and 7 did ski school at base of Canyons (in Canyon village) and it was the best decision we made. They are great. Will definitely stay here again.

5th Visit to Park City…4th visit to The Canyons Resort…1st visit to Hyatt Centric.
Luxurious Lodge style Resort with Ski In/Out proximity to the Canyons Resort. Steps away from restaurants and shoppes of Canyons Village. Immediately greeted by super friendly staff. Easy check in/check out process. Rooms were immaculate and COVID protocols followed carefully.
Incredibly quiet and peaceful place to stay after a long day of skiing (or summertime adventures). Offers ski valet so gear is ready early and safely stored at night. Pool and Jacuzzi available on site. My room included a gas fireplace which added warmth and tranquility to the room. You are able to Ski In/Out from the Hyatt, but you are also able to take the roomy shuttle to/from the Canyons Village if you prefer. The complementary Shuttle will also take you into Park City in the evening for those that want to venture out.
Restaurant facilities were fantastic. I ate most my meals at the Hyatt. The menu selection was complete with options for everyone’s individual dietary requirements. Full Bar with exceptional wine/beer selection also available.
The Hyatt Centric at Park City is great for families, couples as well as business travelers since they have full-service meeting facilities. As a solo Traveler I felt welcome and well cared for by all the staff. A special shout out to Juan, Wara and the others who made this trip memorable!
My preferred ski's are high performance Rossignol's, my Boots Salomon Shaft Pro's and now my Hotel Hyatt Centric Park City!!!

Take the shuttle. It's so easy. They keep your skis overnight and they are waiting out front at the shuttle. You literally point at your skis and they load everything for you. They then drop you at the base. Easy peasy. You can ski back in (watch for the signs and keep right...except at the very last turn!) and you ski right into the ski shop, or go back to base and catch the shuttle back. Quickest ski in/ski out I've ever been to!
