Detailed Reviews
We booked several nights here, 8 weeks before we decided to tag Park City onto our whirlwind trip of the US. With the hotel being a part of the Sheraton Group and offering Club Facilities we knew we had a great deal.
On arrival, the bell staff were so eager to please and couldn't do enough for you. We'd come off an early flight from Vegas into SLC and were surprised to be given our room key, by Reception at 10am. Thank you, you guys were champions!
The shuttle service offered by the hotel, and their drivers, was also extremely accommodating. It was no trouble for them to drop you into Main Street, Park City during the day and they were happy to return and pick you up as long it didn't clash with afternoon pickups from the Mountain (ie around 3 to 4pm).
If you were skiing, it was required to pre-book your transfer times in the mornings. The afternoons the shuttle would virtually be waiting for you as you came off the mountain. The longest we waited for a return shuttle was 15 minutes, most days it was only 5 minutes.
At night, the shuttle would run you into Main Street, pretty much as you required. They would give you the number to call the driver and they would return to pick you up. The service was entirely free.
The hotel is a little over a mile from Main Street and the Chairlift, however, it wasn't a problem with such accommodating drivers running the shuttle service.
The Club Lounge was a little hit and miss and definitely not on par with Australian lounges. However, we weren't paying a huge amount to stay here so we can't complain.
We had a double Queen Room (typical hotel room style). As we were hardly in the room, except for showering and sleeping, we were comfortable. Bedding and Pillows were all great. I like a bath after a full day of skiing, however our room was shower only. The room was large enough for three people, with three large suitcases and hand luggage.
The foyers were lovely with Christmas decor and there is a massive indoor pool area for large groups, which we didn't have time to use. There is also a gymnasium and underground car park.
If you are after a luxury stay, this is not the hotel for you. It is comfortable, clean, economical, showcasing a very presentable foyer area, and a club lounge, but it is not a 5 star Sheraton property.
If you're after the luxury lodge feel, you would need to look elsewhere, with a much higher spend.
Locally, we loved the Grub Steak House, which is around the corner from the Sheraton, and one of the best Steak Houses in Utah. So location wise, the hotel was fine.
We were in Park City for 4 days and found the hotel ideal for our needs as a family.

Response from Jayefo, General Manager at Sheraton Park City

Thank you for taking the time to share your ski vacation experience with "the world". I was pleased to read you were able to take advantage of our shuttle services. Parking can be difficult at times at Park City Mountain Resort, Deer Valley Ski Resort and/or Main Street, so having the drop off/pick up service seems to work well with all of our guests. I was very happy you felt my team was welcoming and friendly. Having just finished a multi-million dollar renovation as we converted to a Sheraton last July, I was also thrilled to hear you found our guest rooms comfortable and relaxing. We look forward to welcoming you back!

Not a fan of Sheraton before Marriott took them over. I would sometimes have to stay at Sheratons when traveling for business and it was always a disappointment. I have avoided Sheraton's whenever possible, but I wanted to spend a birthday weekend in Park City with my wife and decided to give it a try. Our room was comfortable, modern and well-appointed. Staff was friendly. Lots of great restaurants in walking distance.
Two knocks. which resulted in a three star rating. First, the trash cans in the room had not been emptied. I did not notice this until the second day and the rest of the room seemed clean and fresh, so I choose to imagine that everything else had been cleaned, covid sanitizing procedure had been completed etc, and that the trash cans were just overlooked.
Second, the covid 19 breakfast modifications are inadequate. I am a lifetime titanium with Marriott and and I am used to the various breakfast options of different Marriott brands. For a full service brand, I expect breakfast in the lounge on weekdays, and a breakfast voucher for breakfast at the hotel restaurant if the lounge is closed. During the covid pandemic, this sometimes means the voucher is for the in-hotel Starbucks, as the restaurant is not opened. At other hotels, this has meant vouchers for a drink and a breakfast item for each GUEST per night. This hotel offered ONE $10 voucher per ROOM per night. At check in, they also told me that they had prepared "breakfast bags" if this was not enough. So the first morning, I could see that $10 was, at best, going to get a couple of drinks, so I stopped at the desk first to see what was in the breakfast bags. I was told that I could have a voucher or a bag but not both, and I already had the vouchers. So I used both night's vouchers and $5 out of pocket on the first day, which got me one breakfast sandwich, one danish and 2 hot chocolates. No breakfast on day 2.
Overall, I would stay here again, but I would just be prepared for a non-Marriott experience.

Thank you for staying with us and taking the time and energy out of your busy day to tell us and other travelers about your experience. We are glad you enjoyed our comfortable rooms, location, friendly team members, and some of the amenities we have to offer. Please accept my sincere apology for the challenges you experienced with the trash cans in your guest room and the inadequate complimentary breakfast options offered to our elite members during these unprecedented times. We are doing everything we can to financially operate in a safe manner for both our team members and guests. We anticipate to move back to the more traditional breakfast benefits you are accustomed to as an elite member when business and pandemic levels allow. I never thought I would be giving this hotel a 5 star review. I am very picky, a Marriott Titanium member and had read the bad reviews before coming. Even though I booked our room far in advance, we went at the busiest time in Feb and the hotel was completely sold out at least a month in advance. I had hoped for an upgrade but it wasn’t possible so the hotel front desk did their very best to find us a nice room on the top floor in a quiet area. I think the reason for so many one star reviews is that people are expecting a 5 star hotel. This is a 3 star hotel and is Sheraton not the Ritz Carlton. We stay frequently in 5 star hotels and I can say that the service here was great. Housekeeping was excellent. The room was very clean and anytime we needed towels or supplies, they were very polite and accommodating. Our room was a nice size and quiet. Breakfast came with our stay (due to Marriott status) and was delicious. Ample free underground parking and luggage racks easy to access. While there is a big parking lot at the entrance, we really appreciated the underground parking. Great stay!

The hotel itself is slightly above average. It appears older but renovated. The beds are comfortable and the shower adequate. We liked the split bathroom with the shower, toilet and one sink separated from a second vanity with sink. This is a nice arrangement for a couple.
It is the people working in this hotel that push a three star hotel to a solid four star. The women at the front desk were so thorough, helpful and kind. They thanked me multiple times for my loyalty (Platinum Elite) and made sure my benefits of free breakfast and bonus points were received. The server in the restaurant gave us excellent service for breakfast both mornings.
They offer a free evening shuttle to Main St. each evening which we did not use because we had a car. Two miles is walkable for some if they prefer. We liked the location though not right in town.

This is quite a nice hotel in a convenient downtown location. We were upgraded to a corner suite for two of the nights we were there, but in a regular room for the first night given that we had two separate bookings (decided to arrive a day early). Interestingly the bathroom in the regular room was much nicer than that of the suite, which had a rather small bathroom. However, the size of the suite, including a small balcony, was nice given that this was the end of a rather long vacation for us. The rooms were clean and well appointed. They were changing the hall carpeting while we were there and the small of whatever chemicals they were using to put it down was somewhat obnoxious. We were given vouchers for a free breakfast given our Marriott Platinum status. This was helpful as the cost of the buffet was $18. There is free parking outside the hotel and in a lot under the hotel, but the hotel does charge a $20/night resort fee. Nice stay though in a well appointed hotel.

Very average for a hotel and below average for a Sheraton. Location was too far away from Main Street and while there is a shuttle, ending it at 10pm on a Friday night seems early. Food options both in restaurant for breakfast and in meeting rooms was below average. Rooms were comfortable, mine was fine but most in our group complained that the air conditioning was not up to the task.

After some of the reviews I had low expectations. I did request the top floor due to the noise comments. I was pleasantly surprised - our room was big, clean and well decorated. We ordered room service a few times and it was delicious - sometimes better than some local restaurants. The best experience was how the staff treated us. I let them know we were there for an early 50th for my husband and for our first vacation in PC. They were more than generous to us and made us feel so welcome. The smores set up was amazing!

We stayed at the Sheraton Park City for a family ski trip in March. Check in was quick and efficient, and the staff was incredibly helpful with shuttle information and restaurants. The attendant in the VIP hospitality suite was incredible! Drinks were always stocked, appetizers and snacks were fresh.
I don’t usually write reviews, but I was prompted to write because of the special circumstances of COVID. We had ski tickets to Park City on Sunday, and we had set up shuttle reservations. Within 5 minutes of PC closing down due to COVID, the hotel called to tell us that we should change our ski day to Deer Valley. About an hour later, Deer Valley announced their closure, and the hotel called us again. Talk about prompt customer service!! We ended up skiing at Sundance, a short 30-40 minute drive from the Sheraton, and we had a great day! We might have been the last tourists out of Park City as they closed the doors behind us!
Where else can you get a cozy, well maintained Sheraton quality hotel in close proximity to the ski resorts for a very reasonable price?
We will definitely be back to the Sheraton Park City!

First let me say the hotel is in a nice quiet location yet close to everything you need in town, including a great shuttle to take you to downtown (where you don't want to park). Second the staff really went out of their way to assist in every way possible. The room was pretty nice, recently redone. Comfy beds. My issues were the HVAC never really got the room cold (despite low in the 50s) and the water pressure in the shower was nearly zero. I have to assume these were issues only with my room. The breakfast in the morning was quite nice and the service superb. I would stay again.

This hotel adds $20/night to your bill. No one mentioned this to me when I checked in, and apparently, according to the web site, it includes snacks and beverages that I never saw. They hope that you won't notice when you book the room, as I did not. If they were not trying to be decietful, they would have simply increased the price of the stay by $20. In addition, as a titanium member, I requested a 4pm checkout and confirmed it the night before. At noon the next day, someone opened my door without knocking. Fortunately, I was fully dressed but complaints about these issues got me only an email apology and no refund of the $20.

Yes. We are approximately two miles from Deer Valley. The public bus system goes there as well as the hotel has a shuttle that makes regular trips to and from the resort. The time it takes is heavily dependent upon traffic.
Ignore my previous answer. That was for Stein Erickson Lodge.
The Sheraton’s breakfast area is also buffet with good service and decent selection. I felt very comfortable eating in the restaurant area. They also have a Starbucks on site. It’s small so selection was limited, but of course the coffee was excellent and convenient.
Yes we currently offer in room delivery of all the items on our restaurant menu from 4pm to 10pm.
The $20 Daily Destination Fee (during the summer) includes bottled water in your guest room, Hugo Coffee in the lobby each morning, summer soiree from 4 PM - 5:30 PM on the back patio, discounted bike rentals, shuttle services (to Main Street, Deer Valley, Park City Mountain & Canyons Village), access to indoor pool, hot tub and steam room, 24 hour access to game room, 24 hour access to Sheraton Fitness and discounted golf tee times.
For more information or assistance booking, feel free to give us a call.
