Detailed Reviews
This place couldn't be more convenient! When staying here level set your expectations because it is not a full service hotel. BUT, it has all the benefits of a condo AND a friendly front desk staff to assist. The rooms are clean and quite large - totally fit all our ski gear comfortably with room to spare. The bathrooms are huge and the soaker tubs are a nice touch.
By far the best benefit of this hotel is the location. You can be on town lift within 5 minutes of leaving the hotel. You're also so close to main street that you can put your name in for a table at a restaurant and go back and hang out in your room until they text you.
Overall if you're looking for a convenient, clean spot where you don't have to deal with parking in town or at the mountain or ubers at night, this is an awesome option.

Beautiful boutique style hotel just one and a half blocks from the town ski lift and fabulous Main Street. The facility is spotless and the vibe is fantastic! All of the support staff including front desk, concierge as well as the cleaning staff are focused on making your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. Will absolutely be coming here the next time I visit Park city Utah.

This is the second time my boyfriend and I have stayed here in the last year and we are so glad we gave it a second chance! It was like we were at our home away from home except had what felt like a personal concierge always available. Bill and Angel were our main points of contact and they were exceptional. They took very good care of us and made sure our stay was perfect and were happy to extend our stay (a few times). The condo had everything we needed and if something wasn't there, Bill and Angel made sure to get it for us within minutes. The location is perfect and the underground parking is very convenient. We stay in Park City a lot and are excited to come back to see all the updates they are doing to the property. I highly recommend staying here and if you had a bad experience before, definitely give Main & Sky a 2nd chance!

This was not as expected. I have stayed here 3xs before in years past.
The second bedroom beds were like seesaws if you sat on them wrong, they would lift up. The master bedroom bed was too small for the platform it was on. One of the tvs didn't work. We didn't have enough cups/plates and we had to take them from another room. The housekeeping wouldn't show up until very late and not at all on one day. They weren't very good either.
Don't book this place!

Honestly, I should have known better. So many red flags before we got there.
1. Reservations never picks up the phone or calls back. (forced to book online)
2. No link to the Spa on hotel's website
3. Front desk gave me a non-working number for the Spa, could not transfer me.
Then we actually arrived... Front desk did not acknowledge our 5 year anniversary, nor did the hotel. (no amenity, card, or upgrade, typical stuff for a nice hotel, especially in between seasons when it's slow) Probably because I had to book online and nobody read the notes. The front desk checked my ID handed me a key and that was it, no info about the hotel, didn't even tell me when check-out was. Gave me a piece of paper with all the hotel info (spa phone number wrong again)
Got to the room and it looked like a college apartment that the landlord just touched up everything broken. Obvious damage to the walls and furniture. Hot tub was rusty and peeling at the bottom, deck had bubbly water damage. Pretty bad.
I would not recommend staying here unless you are coming to ski with a large group of rowdy children, because clearly that's who stays in these rooms.

We rented the Penhouse and when we got there, the temperature in the room was very hot, despite the thermostat being set on 60. Maintenance came in and it helped very little and temporary. We closed the shades and headed out the next day and when we came back, it was UNBEARABLY hot. Maintenance was called but didn’t show up. We opened all the doors but couldn’t go back into the room until after 10:00 when the outside air finally cooled it down to bearable.
The carpets were filthy and in need of replacement, the hot tub dirty, and the door to the deck was broken and hard to shut.
The gentleman at the front desk was very kind and the hotel was in a wonderful location. If the place gets updated and cleaned properly, it will be a great place to stay.

My wife and I stayed at the hotel during March 2022 and after the second night we both noticed a few bug bites. I had 3 bites and she had 5 bites but we thought maybe it was just a spider. On the last evening of our stay my wife had laid out her clothing on a sofa in our bedroom. We believe this sofa was infested with bed bugs. My wife was bitten over 50 times from her lower legs all the way up her back. When we called the hotel to inform them of the problem they said they did not believe us! Wow!!!

I will be happy to share the email I wrote to the general manager and the hotel manager. It has yet to be answered and it has been 48 hours. NO RESPONSE. Yet my credit card was fully charged.
Hello Alexandra and Jim,
We enjoyed the beautiful rooms and meeting space at the hotel the last two days. The rooms were spacious and quiet, and we appreciated that.
We would like to discuss a few things that may prevent us from using this space again for future retreats.
Dining Options
I understand it is the down season in Park City and that restaurants close temporarily. However, in all of our first emails, you indicated the restaurant was open and even sent me a menu (please see email thread below). We later found out that the restaurant was not open but we could do in room dining (again, see emails). We then learned that the chef was on vacation Tuesday night and would not be able to prepare in-room dinner. We spent the weekend before the retreat scrambling to find dining options for our large group. However, it wasn't until Wednesday morning (our second day at the hotel) that we learned the chef would not be available at all, for the entire retreat. If we had this information beforehand, we would have been able to plan accordingly.
$100 per room credit
This credit was one of the reasons that helped us decide on your hotel. We planned to use the credit toward our restaurant (or in-room) dining. We learned half-way through our stay that we wouldn't be able to use this credit at all (and by then it was too late to book any spa visits because our retreat was already well under way).
Continental breakfast
We did not realize our continental breakfast would be served at 3 pm on the evening before breakfast. And it was only served to room 309, not to 209. It was enough for four people, not 7. On Wednesday morning, we asked for more continental breakfast, and it seemed like a huge imposition to get it. It was delivered with zero beverages to the meeting space. No water, coffee, tea, juice, nothing. When Ingrid and I visited the hotel the week before, there was at least a coffee room and Alexandra told us this was available to us. But it was locked and lights off our entire visit...again, no water, tea, coffee, nothing. When we asked for some coffee and tea for the meeting room, we were brought a pitcher of water. Nothing more.
Pull away bed
We had four people in one of the 3-bedroom residences on Tuesday night. When we asked for sheets for the pull out bed (after spending at least 45 minutes calling the front desk with no answer), the gentleman at the front desk unlocked a different room, and had us physically pull the sheets off one of the made-up beds and then carry them to our room and make the bed ourselves.
Valet
We had six cars that stayed two nights each. This is $180, not $315. We have been overcharged and want this returned immediately.
I offer all this information as constructive criticism. I also request that you apply the $200 credit to our stay.
I look forward to your response.

First, let me say that I welcome Main & Sky's response. Second, everything I describe here is verifiable so feel free to reach out. Third, here we go: I would love to describe our stay but cannot. Yesterday, my wife developed a medical condition and was told by her doctor not to fly. Her doctor was kind enough to provide a signed note for all vendors we would contact regarding this unforeseeable situation. Every vendor involved has a nonrefundable policy and every vendor was willing to make an exception for medical hardship: the airline, car rental company, and the theater. Every vendor except one: Main & Sky. The property manager, Mr. Mattinson, explained that the hotel cannot make an exception under any circumstances because owners of the unit have been relying on the income from our booking. Really? We made the booking only two days prior. Mr. Mattinson then explained that his hands were tied because the upcoming weekend is a holiday weekend. Really? Without regard to whether the hotel would ultimately offer a refund, we willingly cancelled our reservation so the hotel could again sell the room. And with two more days before the weekend, in this very popular resort town, that is exactly what Main & Sky apparently has done in addition to keeping our money. At this moment, the hotel has no vacancies for the upcoming Labor Day weekend. Had we even considered the possibility that Main & Sky would ignore my wife’s medical hardship and be unwilling to issue a refund even after it resold the room, we would have held the room and invited friends who live in Salt Lake City to enjoy it. It’s very telling that Expedia with whom we made the reservation tried at least four times to reason with Main & Sky managers all to no effect. In our experience, it’s not very often that Expedia apologizes for the behavior of a vendor and offers a monetary gesture of good-will for the actions of others but both happened today. Our recommendation? Carefully consider making a reservation at Main & Sky. It may be a wonderful experience once you check-in. I wouldn’t doubt it. But are you are prepared to lose all of your money if anything prevents you from traveling to the property? Main& Sky’s “zero tolerance” policy would suggests that it’s a waste of time to contact the hotel even on account of a family death and, apparently, a waste of time for your family to contact the hotel even on account of your death. So, while you're still breathing, decide carefully whether to give Main & Sky your business. Again, I welcome Main & Sky’s response. You deserve to see what hotel management has to say about its approach to guest relations and customer retention.
