Old school European style skiers lodge. No frills, just a basic room, breakfast ..... and most importantly walking distance to the resort. Most of the folks staying here seem like European travelers, backpackers, budget travelers etc but all a very nice group. Cant beat the price - one of the best values around.

A cozy no frills lodge within minutes of walk from chairlift with reasonable rates. Staff is very friendly. Continental breakfast included. Parking might be a bit of a challenge if you return to hotel late at night on weekends, we ended up parking further up along the street for some nights.

Upon arrival I was immediately impressed on the location of the lodging and the ski lift for Park City Resort, only about a 5 minute walk.. They provided DAILY, FREE continental breakfast. The staff was super friendly, the overall atmosphere of the lodge was clean and quiet, proved to be very relaxing after a day's worth of snowboarding. The ONLY...

If was a tough adjustment after spending time at the Cliff Lodge at Snowbird. This 60's style decor has a warm friendly staff. Rooms are tired and bathroom was tiny but we enjoyed the location near the lifts and a short walk to town. Continental breakfast consists of coffee, loaf of bread, cereal, juice, muffins and coffee with a communal...

The Chateau Apres seems much as it was when it was built in the 60s. It has been perfectly maintained and is extremely clean with new carpeting, etc. The location couldn't be better as it's a short uphill walk to the ski area and a slightly longer, downhill walk to downtown Park City. They have a decent, free breakfast (cereal,...

I just got back from 5 nights at the Chateau Apres Lodge or "the Chateau" as I call it. The place is literally a 3 minute walk to the Park City lift/Main Resort out the back door of the Chateau. The fun restaurants/bars/shops on main street are a 6 minute walk out the front door. Also, there is a massive...

My wife, daughter & I comfortably stayed in a single room for a week. We had a great time. We asked for the sofa to be made up as a bed, while not large it was comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. We choose the to ignore the suggestion to keep our skis in the room and instead opted...

I understand that this was the first lodge built in Park City, and it has been charmingly maintained to retain its character. The staff and other travelers were both friendly and helpful. Whenever I needed anything, there was always someone there to get me a blow dryer or band-aid. The room was very comfortable and modestly decorated. The location was perfect...

This was my second stay at Chateau Après Lodge, the previous one being 4 years ago and it feels like a few things have been refreshed since my last stay. The hotel is basic but well done - clean, space to unpack and with free breakfast and wifi. Jason is a star - incredibly helpful and knowledgable. For a 3...

“Rooms seem to be all the same - some faced the mountain, others faced the village. The side facing the mountain did not have a view because there was a hill that sloped up behind the hotel, so I suppose a room in the front of the building would be better.”
