I used to live in Park City and man was it ever a treat to go eat breakfast at Steins! The restaurant staff is very nice and food is beyond excellent, so many options at the buffet. (the regular sit down menu is good too) The atmosphere is warm and cozy and the view from the deck is beautiful. The...

Nice, but a little past it's prime in certain areas. More lodge like (which is desirable compared to the very large Montage). Staff is super accommodating and nice. Our waiter at breakfast on Thanksgiving was a pleasure. Our dinner the night before Thanksgiving in the main dining area was outstanding! Chocolates and taffy received during check-in. The bathroom tub and...

We visited to experience in advance the service, ambiance, rooms, food, service etc. before our 400 participant conference in September 2017. It lives up to its 5 Star reputation ... and, what impressed me even more was the Molton & Brown hand soap and cream in the bathrooms! Worth a visit even if not staying ...

Beyond Excellent. Ask for Meda! She is top drawer. Professional, effective and efficient. Plus she knows her menu details and provides excellent guidance! Ask for Noel if Meda is off from work. He is also knowledgeable! Enjoy these fine folks!

. . . and have stayed at a number of hotels just for a treat (I live in Park City). And far and away the most elegant stay to be had in the Rocky Mountains is the astonishingly lovely Stein Eriksen Lodge in Deer Valley. First of all, Deer Valley is the BEST ski resort. So Stein Eriksen picked the...

Went with my son for our first-time skiing. The hotel is absolutely perfect for first timers to the slopes. It is ski-in/ski-out, right on 2 easy green runs, right next to a magic-carpet conveyor belt area for training, right on a ski-lift, and there's a Deer Valley ski office on-site to buy lift tickets. Great staff in the ski locker...

If you are a skier this is the place to stay. This hotel has its own ski shop and lift ticket office. The locker area is spacious and the staff will even help you put your ski boots on and take them off. There are four lifts right out of the back door. Our hotel room was very nice and...

I was fortunate to be able to spend 3 nights in this wonderful place. I had a beautiful room with a hot tub on the balcony. The service is impeccable and the staff couldn't be nicer. It is ski in/out and the staff helps with everything. Fantastic experience.

This is my 3rd stay at Stein. Normally, that would mean it is the 'charm', but sadly, was my least favorite. While my room was incredible (as it should have been. I paid $100 above the nightly rate that I was quoted by reservations), the service, grounds upkeep and experience were subpar: 1. The check-in process was mediocre. Long lines....

We arrived late and left early but enjoyed every minute we were at the Stein Eriksen. It is a wonderful resort/hotel. The rooms are great and everything is first class. We wish we had had more time to spend there.
