wasn't expecting much for the price and walked in and wow I couldn't believe how nice it was, I would stay here anytime I could. the only complaint would be the hifi was unable to log on and by the time I tried no one was at the front desk.

Cheaper motels run the risk of being nasty, but this one wasn't bad. Yes, it's old, and the furniture was a little dinged up, but it was generally clean and had a good bed. The shower had good pressure, but the walls that housed the toilet were tight to maneuver in for an adult--though survivable, depending on your size. Good...

This is a cute little place, people are nice and mean well. But...they are small time operators with stretched resources, and it shows. We pulled in kinda late. After showering we hit the sack to watch some TV but it didn't work. Went to the desk at 10:00 pm to get some help, which became awkward, she had to walk...

This is a great value. Well maintained, very clean, with one of the most comfortable beds I have slept on in any motel. The front desk gal was friendly and very helpful, made you feel welcome. Everything worked as it should. Nice shower with plenty of hot water. I would stay here again.

Beds comfortable, bathroom equipment works well, a/c worked fine, everything clean, staff very pleasant. Our biggest problem was that, while the bathroom was workable, it is tiny. The sink is small, there is very little room to set down shaving equipment or makeup materials.

Thank you for taking the time to post a review. We are glad you enjoyed your stay with us. Unfortunately, our property was built before large bathrooms were the rage but we have added a shelf for soaps, etc. over the sink. Most of our guests enjoy the mirror over the desk to do makeup and hair. Come see us...

I stay in St. George frequently for work, normally staying in big name hotels, but this time I thought I'd try one of the smaller motels. It was a good choice. I like being able to drive up next to the room to unload. The room decor was dated, but everything was clean and functional. The wi-fi worked fine. The...

Thank you for posting a review. We are glad you were pleased with your stay. Thank you for letting us know about the TV issue. Unfortunately, guests sometimes change the television settings. I will add checking the television settings to our housekeeper checklist. As you discovered, the problem with the old metal keys is that they get locked in the...

This is a reasonably nice hotel. I would still recommend wearing flip flops in the shower. Not unclean but its definitely a good idea. It is quiet and the staff is very nice and helpful. The room smelled very clean. The comforter had some visible stains on the outside but the sheets and pillows were extremely clean. Towels were also...

Booked the place a few weeks ahead of our trip based on good price on PriceLine and it had fairly high review ratings. And we knew the city we intended to make it to on that day's driving. Older building (I'd guess originally built in late 1940's or 50's) but it's been kept up nicely. Bed was comfortable and room...

Older place as you expect for the price, not overly clean and well worn. Room service doesn't come everyday so if you stay more than one day you have to go ask for more towels, soap etc. The office lady was studying for some child care development program and we had to wait while she cleared some counter space and...

Sorry you had a bad experience at our hotel. We are more economical because we do not charge for all the amenities of larger hotel chains. We have found that most guests even at larger hotels don't want service on a daily basis and if they do it is just fresh towels they want which we provide from the front...

I never expect much from cheap motels but it's nice to be pleasantly surprised. Dixie Palms turned out to be great place. Room was very comfortable and clean. The only thing bad I can recall was the missing TV remote. Also, they give a breakfast discount at a nearby diner (Bear Paw, pretty good food). Much better option than a...

Thank you for posting a review. I am glad you were pleasantly surprised with our little place. Our goal is a comfortable, clean stay for every guest. We work daily to do more than just a sheet change and bathroom clean. Our goal is to make our rooms feel like home. Sorry about the remote. We try to remember to...
