We totally enjoyed our nights stay. Beautiful historic home that was fun to stay in. The room was decorated in period pieces. I didn't care for the rocking chair because I was afraid I would break it..... it creaked and groaned when I sat in it. The breakfast in the morning was great. It was just enough for me.... not... This was one of our overnight stops on our road trip to Las Vegas and of all our accomodation this was the most memorable. Each house or cabin had been almost earmarked for demolition in its original site and was re-built piece by piece on the site in St George, Utah. It had its own history too about who lived... More

We were in St. George for a weekend workshop. The Green Gate Inn was the perfect place to stay. Reasonably priced and ideally located, just a short walk to the delightful downtown area. Our room, the Christin, was clean and comfortable. The included breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Highly recommended!

Our sincere thanks for the many kind comments from so many valued guests over the past 14 years. It is with mixed emotions that we announce our retirement and the closure of the Green Gate Village Inn. All of our best to all of you. Ed & Lindy Sandstrom, Innkeepers More

We arrived here rather jet lagged after a long flight and felt as though we had stepped on to a film set! The innkeepers are very nice and the breakfasts excellent. The only reason I haven't given 5 stars is because neither the pool nor the room were spotless but the atmosphere of the place did make up for this... More

This is an adorable little village built in the Civil War era. We stayed in the Christin suite. It was two bedrooms and one bath. It was so quaint and lovely! We just fell in love with it! It was like stepping back in time! The suite was spotless with everything you need! The innkeepers were so friendly and while... More

Quaint and historic inn on one of the main streets in historic St. George, Utah. Clean rooms are spread throughout multiple historic buildings. Average breakfast but very friendly and helpful proprietors. Ample and free on-site parking. I would stay here again and recommend it to others. St. George has a really nice downtown area, all within walking distance. Lots of... More

This is a review of the Orson Pratt House. It was reminiscent of Pratt, Kansas in the early 1970s for me when my grandmother used to prepare breakfast. No detail is left unattended. You will be introduced to other guests at breakfast as well. It's a great place to get away and yet get to know others. There were tons... More

Within walking of all the historic downtown sites of St. George, art walk along the roadside across the street had multiple sculptures. Restaurants all within walking, and downtown Boutiques shopping too. Outlet mall, Golf Courses a plenty, local airport, and box store/chain store shopping all within a quick drive. 3 Reservoir's (Gunlock, Sand Hollow and Quail Creek) offer water sports... More

We stayed for two days at the beginning of June. Green Gate is centrally located with a nice selection of restaurants within two blocks. Many of the historic sites are very close by and are easily toured on foot. Central location does not mean noisy as it was very quiet. Our cottage was historic and furnished with antiques but also... My husband and I traveled from Las Vegas for a quiet get away. We have lived on the East coast and love the traditional Bed and Breakfasts and Inns, but the West Coast doesn't have any of these. Well this place is exactly that! A charming East Coast Inn with history and hospitality. Rooms are affordable and breakfast is included... More
