Do you remember the classic Seinfeld episode where he lectures the car rental sales lady who messes up his car reservation? "You know how to take the reservation; you just don't know how to hold the reservation. And that's really the most important part of the reservation: the holding. Anybody can just take them." Well we made a reservation with Doug, but when we arrived there after nearly hitting a cow crossing the road in the middle of the night (which might have cost us our lives), we found out that one of Doug's relatives had erased our reservation for no apparent reason, and booked an entire tour group, leaving no vacancies. The good part was that he called the neighbouring hotel and asked them to assume our reservation at the same rate, which they did. Similar hotel, huge rooms, fine bed, everything clean, etc. No complaints about that. So I can't give you a review of Doug's place, but you can use this information however you like. …
