We stayed here for the Roots on the Water Festival in June. The place was very clean, and quaint. Gayle and Jon were very nice and the food was delicious. I especially loved the toll house cookies. I would go back.

Thanks for your kind words and the kudos on the cookies! Really, there is nothing like a fresh baked choco chip cookie :-) We are so glad you stayed with us during the music festival. We hope you'll come and stay with us again next year!

We stayed here two nights in mid-July and totally loved it. I had already spoken with the innkeeper, Gayle, several times on the phone, and found her to be helpful, friendly, and eager to please. I was so happy to meet her and her partner, John, in person. The inn is very clean and inviting. There is a small refrigerator...

I'm home now, but keep visualizing us sitting on the inn's beautiful and comfy porch overlooking the peaceful river. We didn't get to relax too much, though, because there was a lot to see and do in the area--Vermont Country Store, Harpoon Brewery, and Simon Pearce glassblowing. Gayle is a wonderful resource for actiavities, and Jon pulls out a map...

Found the Inn during a snowstorm, couldn't continue driving. car got stuck on the road up to the Inn and the owners pulled us out. They had two rooms available for our family--luckily. It was clean, cozy, and beautiful. The next morning we were given an amazing home cooked breakfast! They even cleaned the snow off our car. I highly...

Wow...we remember that snow storm clearly as it was the only time folks got stuck on the hill! We were so glad to be your shelter in the storm and that you were comfortable here. We hope you come back when its not so snowy! But it is beautiful here on the hill at almost any time of the year!...
